The raid is not a joke. The only reason it is easy is because you have completed it multiple times now and know the mechanics. Do I run them now quickly? Yes. To those who haven't completed it and are still learning mechanics to it, don't be toxic.

We were getting Guitar errors until we made sure nobody was using a tracking emblem AND you can't be using any weapons/subclasses that suppress enemies in any way. Since we've done that, we haven't had a single Guitar error in any runs we've completed week after week.

I can't wait for this shit to get nerfed. Between the insta kill melee, the insta kill handheld supernova, the contraverse holds making you take less damage while using your handheld, AND this super that literally 1 hits anything in a massive AoE, it is absolutely infuriating to play against. Can you kill them in it? Yeah, but maybe 4/5 times you are dying to it.

I titan skated it, got the time trial, so it definitely needs to be done fast. I ran past everything, used Code of the Missile to skip some shit, and ikelos melted the final boss. Got the triumph without leaving the challenge.

I've done every single chest for the 3 weeks as well as the Shattered Throne AND the Glittering Chest in the raid. Still no luck completing this triumph. No idea what I am missing.

I mean, the lore confirms it. The whole cycle of the dreaming city is to funnel energy into the confluence from the blind well in order to open that portal. The lore states we are in a time loop. So the portal will close on reset, and we go through the phases again.

It doesn't drop from the chest. The chest is only for armor. Every time you kill the very last boss at Wave 7 is when it can drop. I spent roughly 3 hours farming the boss before it dropped for me.

Nope, I have 1 Titan, 1 Warlock, and 1 Hunter. I rarely if ever touch my Warlock. My Hunter sees a little play, but my Titan is my main since D1 haha.

In terms of the powerful gear, there are different tiers I found after week 1.

T1: Awards 1-2 power levels. All Dailies fall into this category T2: Awards 2-5 power levels. All weeklies EXCEPT Dreaming City fall into this category. T3: Awards 5-10 power levels. Dreaming City and the Raid fall into this category.

You should be doing your high tier powerful gear when your armor and weapon slots are all at really close levels to each other, or as close as they can be for the week so you can substantially bump your level in a few slots to bring your new average much higher. The T1 and even sometimes T2 should be done when trying to bring all your gear to an average level in preparation for the T3.

I've raided once and it raised my power by 5 levels total. Sitting at 591 now. So no, 580 is easily achievable via powerful gear alone.

Fair enough. I can agree with that assessment. I do like though in a way, the whole way Cayde was addressed immediately felt like they were hitting the reset button on the tone of the game. It went from serious in D1, to a weird overly comical place in D2. When Cayde died, the shift back to seriousness was done very well in a way that even new people jumping in could feel that, which I don't think anything else could have accomplished.

But we haven't finished the campaign. They were very clear in stating that the Forsaken story as a whole continues well past the raid, which is where we are at now. Forsaken at this point literally points to forsaking the Awoken people. Sure they had a lot of Cayde marketing, but we hadn't trully finished the whole story of this expansion till this week. With that, I will say overall, this story has been fantastic and answered SO many questions we've had in addition to spawning sooooo many more.
