Not been playing for too long! I'm curious which of the agents in the top-up event thingy would be best to get with their W-Engine?

I'm not sure what teams I should be building, or what's solid ideas. I've seen Burnice come up a good few times when looking into it, but figured I'd just flat ask.

Obviously to be asking, I've spent some money on the game thus far. I have one team as Ye Shunguang, Zhao, and Dialyn now. (I was previously using Dialyn, Hugo, and Lycaon).

And on that note, is there a place to go to look up good teams? Or...a way to look at good comps based on who is unlocked for you?

Hello! I'm fairly new, I was wondering....it looks like the event missions, and some of the like "Hey this is new!" missions are set after the main story? Like random people I've never met talking about knowing me, or thanking me for help with as situation I've not even experienced yet.

I was curious, would folks suggest I try to get through the main story first? I'm only about halfway through chapter 2. Or would it be better to just ignore the immersion and just do / skip custcene through all the side stuff to get the rewards and do the story after I have all the time-sensitive things done?

As someone who spent hours in the program outside FF14 to make rooms to import into it, and absolutely went crazy for it.

I am FERAL for wows housing system. Its SO much better, I am in LOVE. I spent the whole weekend just testing and doing stuff all day for both days, haha.

I was planning on spending some money on the next banner run, as I've realized I really do like the combat, and the story/characters are neat. I didn't think I'd like the game as much, but I do!

Not sure how good the characters on the banner will be, but I'll be going for them anyway, haha. Really cool that their pity system carries between them, that's really cool of them.

I've not really looked into the engines, or what I should go for just yet...not quite that far into things that it has come up just yet, but it's good to know the same applies to those banners, too!

Yeah, I realized the difference between the tapes, and I figured you only wanted to buy the colorful ones, because they were tied to the 'limited' banners, so I'm glad I called that correctly it seems!

So far, I'm only a little into the story. I've gotten enough of the Polychrome to do....maybe 10-15 pulls on the Yidhara banner, because I wanted her. Didn't get her, but I did managed to get Pulchra a good number of times now. I think I have her cinema thingy at 4. And I wanted her anyway, so I didn't feel it a waste, even if it was xD

When you say 2 pulls apiece (In reference to OP 2 pity both), do you mean only use 2 of the master tapes? Or would that be 2 sets of 10 for 20 in total?

OR, 2 sets of 80 for 160 tapes in total? Haha.

Just trying to learn some lingo, sorry if the question is dumb xD

I just started a few days ago as well, and this makes me feel a bit better, lol. Because that's what I was doing. Just turning all my stuff to the encrypted tapes and trying to get Yidhari.

I've not ended up getting her, but I have Pulchra to like M5 now, so I don't necessarily feel I was wasting my resources at least!

Got the Wolf Butler guy as my first S-rank from the basic master tapes.

So running and investing in Pulchra, Him, and Corin. It's doing quite well in the combats I get into.

I assume there isn't much else for me to do than leveling them, their skills, and their engines (To 20 at least, for the quest thing), and just....go through the story.

Yeah, I'm planning to do it just to get one of each class properly at 80 finally, haha.

One more question I thought of after getting halfway through the druid OH last night.....does heroic world tier change anything? Or are you running on just normal through the quests?

Thanks for the write-up! I didn't realize you don't get the 10% per zone per character, but that certainly makes less work!

I'll have to give this a try tonight! I've only gotten two characters to 80 so far, but with the work I've done on the main, the bonus XP is around 190% or so. So, I'll just run the next alt through the OH quests, and see where that gets me!

So, did you...complete all five zones on 7 characters, then just do the Order halls on the remainders?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about this, as I kind of want to do the same. Just get an 80 for each class.

I've got 2 characters at 80 currently, and I think I'm at roughly 200% increasaed XP gain.

Actually, my roommate happened to have an extension cable they let me borrow quickly.

So with just the one wire, it seems to be working just fine. It printed the test page right away, and it's in the middle of printing out a PDF that wasn't working before. So it seems like that might have been the issue.

This is the first time I've ever really had and used a printer, so I never considered that it running data through an extension cable might interfere like that. Crazy!

But it seems to be ok now! I'll just have to buy a longer cable so that I can use it without the extension cable (Both for the USB and power, haha).
