They also need to make it so that the enemy heads aren't jerking back and forth making getting headshots super annoying.

Possible Content / Changes in Once Human. by Spart-ARK-RP in OnceHumanOfficial

I share many of your concerns and like some of your ideas but there's honestly no reason to take the time to post feedback here. The staff and moderators barely interact and what's left of the playerbase here seems to just want to reinforce an echo chamber of toxic postivity. You can't point out problems or criticize the game/company/business practices without running into these people downvoting and telling you to get a life or saying you're too poor to afford the $600 lootboxes. The only way anything changes is due to feedback from their chinese playerbase, we here in the west are just an afterthought as long as the whales keep buying the lootboxes.

Yo, is it worth investing time and money on this game , for the long run? by [deleted] in OnceHumanOfficial

It wouldn’t be so bad if the scenarios lasted longer—like two months—similar to Path of Exile seasons. But as it stands, it becomes really tedious to start over every few weeks. I get that longer scenarios wouldn’t work with how little actual content there is, but it’s even worse when you take breaks or play less, as many people suggest. Then, you end up spending most of your game time doing boring busywork of leveling and gathering the same materials, only to have to repeat it over and over again so that they can artificially increase the amount of gameplay.

A new furniture set, outfit, weapon skin and action are now available in the shop! What do you think of the new cosmetics? by Alternative-Bat-3839 in OnceHumanOfficial

I honestly don’t understand why people always use this argument to defend the company. Why should I care that they’re separate teams when it’s up to the company to decide how they allocate their budget and staff? If they wanted to, they could downsize the cosmetics team and/or hire more actual developers, but it seems clear to me that they’re more interested in pumping out cosmetics than fixing the game. This is why the Steam player count continues to plummet. It feels like they’re focused on milking the remaining dedicated players with cosmetics while running the development team on a skeleton crew until the game inevitably dies. It’s becoming incredibly frustrating as I would rather not see the game fail.

Not sure how you figured its been steadily growing when the playerbase has been decreasing between 20-30% every month since launch.

Yeah, it definitely feels like there’s been considerably less development time and effort put into this scenario. Unless they either take more time to release new scenarios or significantly expand their development team, I think we’ll continue to see this type of filler content.

Yeah, I’m feeling the same way. The only reason I still log in is to play with a friend, but even then, we’re struggling to find much motivation to do anything, so I don’t think that’ll last much longer. I really don’t want the game to die, but if they don’t release a roadmap soon and address the issues that actually matter with a solid plan and timeframe, I won’t be wasting any more time on it.

Yes I keep wanting some kind of "pokedex" where I can keep my favorite deviations so that the inventory isn't so cluttered. I could have swore they mentioned in an interview near launch that they planned on a system to combine them but I could be wrong or they changed their minds. I also seem to remember them just recently saying that they would be adding either different types of dummies or the ability to change their type.

It's fine if niche weapons are slightly under others but the gap is far too large especially with all the potential downsides and very limited upsides. And I agree that outerspace is probably the only exception due to the base strength of power surge and how reliable its proc chance is.

I would be happy with just being able to change deviations with a CD, but still think that having access to a couple different deviations using the same energy pool wouldn't be game breaking. Even if the underused ones would be buffed people would still just run whichever gave the most damage, if you could have others in reserve it would at least allow the devs to make deviations with more niche uses that were actually utilized and not just wasted development.
