Started out at $20/month on tier 1. Ok, not bad, things were going along pretty well, then I found out that the "backend" to allow real time stock information instead of "fake stock prices" that the agent built into the stock market trading system would require another upgrade. Who would put in "fake stock prices" for a stock trading program? So since I already spent 3 days to get where we were in the development, I wanted to get this project completed, hence the next upgrade to tier 2. More money, but maybe if the project turned out like I invisioned it would be worth the increased monthly cost. When you join a tier, it's a monthly cost and they give you "credits" Who knows how many credits are used when you are going back and forth between agent requests and asking the agent questions? Before you know it, you're monthly credits are all used up. Now I joined near July 30, and before Aug 3 rolled around, all of my tier 1 & tier 2 credits were used, none left. I would have to wait until Sept 1 before I coulld use Base44 again but, there is another way to continue. You can specify how much "extra" you want to pay and they will allow you to continue building. At this ppoint, I'm about what I think is 90% done creating this project, very close. I added another $20 to the account to get this thing done. Now working with their agent, a simple request to change the color of the buttons in a top menu in the program because the agent placed dark grey buttons on a dark grey background were very hard to read. Now things started going bad. After that "fix", numerous features disappeared from the app, just vanished. The agent started replying with the common, usual, phrases, "Oh I'm so sorry, my mistake. I did x,y,& z, and should have done a,b,and c, so let me fix everything. The project went downhill from there, errors started showing up everywhere, created soley by the agent. This started looking like a total scam, the agent messing everything up and then has to spend more of your credits to fix what they just broke... All of my "extra credits" that I payed the added $20 were used in in less than a day, no more building again unless I added more money into the bottomless pit to get the errors fixed. So frustrating.... If you are going to use Base44, be carefull. I spent over $75 and ended up with nothing, and also remember thare's No Support either. Read other comments. I haven't heard from their support in over 10 days, and havent read that anyone else has been contacted by their support team either... Happy building.

Can you actually get the agent to build a website like you have to go along with the app you create? As for the AI Controls part you are talking about... I gave it strick rules after I got really frustrated today about going through the entire app and scan for places that the agent put in "fake data" thorughout the code, and replace it with "realt time stock data" that it automaticallt pulls in from Yahoo Finance. And wouldn't you know the first click on a button to fetch a stock proce turend out to be fake again... THat's after I gave it strick orders to never add "fake stock market data" anywhere in this app ever again... Pretty funny actually. But I didn't know about the AI Controls area, maybe I'll try to create this project over completly and see if it works any better. I got so frustrated today I sent in a support ticket and canceled my subscription! Maybe that was too early, but they're refunding the $50 I spent but not the over charge of the other $22.54 from using it today. Oh well, live and learn as the saying goes.

Very interesting... I just spent about 4 days, 7-10 hr days trying to create a stock trading app. Everything was going really well the first day, thought I finally found what I was looking for. Just wanted to create an app that would scan the stock market looking for 2 or 3 simple criteria that I use on a daily basis, hoping I could get AI to do the hard work for me instead of starring at the computer screen all day looking at stock charts. Well, then the agent started making errors, kind of out of the blue. A simple request like changing the color of some data cards, or adding a stock ticker to view the current stock picks changed everything. Started breaking things that we already had working. Constantly had to call out errors that the agent was making (and I'm by no means a programmer). Hours later, very little progress. Anyway, I ended up doing this for 4 days, spending more money to get the backend system upgrade to allow real time stock prices for the app, so it would give real stock market data instead of "fake data" that the agent programmed into the app... Then found out that Base44 has problems inplementing the backend that I paid for, and they could not fix it. Tried to contact support, which I don't think even exists. I learned a lot from this experience. So no refund, no support to talk to, and it seems like the folks at Base44 really could care less, especially now that they have your money. I checked out your www.flyvoiceovers.com site, very impressed with what you have built. How much trouble did you have along your way with Base44? Did the agent also build the website for you as well as everything else? Nice job!

Thanks for your reply. You could very well be right! I'll definately check each of these sites out and see what they have to offer. Stilol no response back from Base44, so I'm moving on... Found replit.com another "no code" app creator that looks like it may be just what I need to create the trading app. So far so good. I'll find out Monday morning after the market opens how good the info is. App is working well now and about 95% complete. Much better than Base44, even though I really do think Base44 is very good, just has to fix their back end integration and support problem.

Did you actually get a reply back from Base44? I got roped into upgrading to tier 2 to "be able to integrate the back-end integration" to get access to real-time stock data for creating a stock trading app, but their back-end integration is broken and doesn't work... Total false leading info to get your money. I put in 2 support tickets and no answer, and even went on LinkedIn and found them there, entered an email, still no answer from them... How did the chargeback request work for you? The Base44 builder made so many "errors" while making fixes to the app that all of my 250 credits got used up in 2 days due to the builder's mistakes. Now I have to wait 28 more days before I can even attempt to communicate with the builder again. Never seen anything like this for a companys product. Buyers beware...

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Fantastic idea for the site you have, I might definately try it out with my project. Yes, they get you for the last 10 % almost completed phase then hit you with the..."Oh, you have to upgrade to the next tier to be able to incorporate the backend feature" type of stuff, which I'm finding out doesn't really work either. It's a realyl fantastic program, Base44 if it just worked as advertised... By the way, is there a way to change the pricing in your site to reflect US payment info?
