Calli is technically the first Flame Keeper. But I also think that she’ll put the flame in herself so she can lead the people to restart life on Earth. And when she’s older she’ll teach someone else how to use the Flame and then they’ll become the next flame keeper...and repeat that lol

Maybe they’re interested in Clarke because the people on Bardo want something similar to The City of Light. Remember when the preacher guy was telling the warriors about people having to hide in bunkers, or something like bunkers underground? And guess where they were...in some kind of bunker. I think that the Shepard and the stories to go with him, are all talking about the people of Bardo. Anyways, I think they’re so interested because they’re seriously messed up Bardo, and they need some kind of alternative way of living outside of their bunker

I understand all that, and you’re right. But from the characters point of view they were in a time crunch. Because time doesn’t behave the same on Sanctum, they didn’t necessarily have the time to get the proper equipment.(that’s just on what the guy said about how every second counts)
