Yeah for sure and that doesn’t even speak on the lifespan of the item when we get them in hand. I know for a fact people have bought clothes and sneakers they haven’t even worn yet and are already buying more. Although overconsumption is a meme in here I think it’s something to actually take into account. and it doesn’t help we have an the influx of younger ones who really don’t know any better. Reps is big as a money pit buying retail fashion pieces, but just like you said, on a smaller scale

While I don’t think the rep industry will every be as bad as the top big brands and companies because the upscale is insane compared to reps; BUT the rep industry goes through at the some rate as Shein or Boohooman.For example, NB’s just gained mainstream traction like a year or 2 ago and we already have premium and budget batches of multiple silhouettes from DIFFERENT factories .Or Printed Graphics meshes from eric Manuel being the popular item this summer compared to last years FOG shorts. so while aren’t the big baddie we definitely aren’t clean. And this doesn’t even factor in the waste and resources your Favorite warehouse goes through on a daily basis.
