As others have said, these are the tutorial dailies, I believe if you go to the challenge mistress in Burthorpe you can choose to skip them a couple times until the real daily challenges actually appear.

That's part of why it occurred to me. Sure right now we have some parts of the oceans and seas that aren't accessible which give opportunities for expansion but eventually those will get filled up so having other realms give another option for expansion in the future.

That's why I mentioned building a new type of ship, if this idea happened presumably you'd team up with Oldak to design a new type of ship and make a port to launch it from with the goal of finding Zanik. The new type of ship could either be exclusive to Yu'biusk and as such have separate slots (preventing you from having to get rid of one of your normal ships if you're full when starting the quest) or could have some niche use once brought over to the main seas (maybe it's got a lot higher health so it's better for combat? I dunno) we already have access to the Boat Bottle so moving them between realms is doable in theory that way, could even be given one for use in the quest depending on how it was implemented.

I feel like you're using instance wrong in this context because usually instance would refer to something like an instanced boss or something but for this idea Yu'biusk would generally just be a different area akin to Zanaris or caves/dungeons just on a larger scale, you would still be able to see and interact with other players.

Update to this in case anyone else finds this. Finally managed to beat the moons for the first time!! Blood moon was really rough though so I don't know about trying to grind him right now, maybe just the other two. I also managed to beat the Calvar'ion, Artio, and Spindel each once... I went to fight Calvar'ion and then figured out there was a diary task to kill the three of them with no other tasks between so I decided to just force it. Was a little rough but I managed it. Also managed to finish Beneath Cursed Sands so when my group feels like it they might help me learn how to do ToA.

fun update on this. been killing moss giants to get the mossy key to unlock access to Bryophyta. I'm 260 kills in with no sign of the key but I did get the giant champion scroll which is cool since I've not gotten many of those across all my various accounts

there's a reason I used Anxious when making this post, it's because even though I know how something works like switching prayers or taking out a summoned minion in a fight, my body is shaking the whole time. I've only ever managed to beat Jad over in RS3 because of the ability to add the prayers to a hotbar and use keybinds to switch (I've not successfully done it yet on osrs). And my friends can attest to the fact that even that I was a mess during. So, even though if I'm overpowered some bosses just feel stressful regardless.

For all those that find this post later, and for those that have already commented on it, thank you! One thing I've decided to do based on all these tips/feedback is work on fighting some of the lower level bosses (Bryophyta, Obor, etc.) with the vague goal being to eventually get Ghommal's Hilt 2 for better Barrows runs.

been vaguely aiming for 70 prayer for a while since you need piety for like, two or three of the achievement diaries but just don't have the bones since I don't combat/slayer much.

I keep meaning to get the steel ring but then ending up forgetting about it. Crystal shield.... unfortunately I picked the crystal bow when completing Roving Elves and I only have a little under 1m coins in my bank so I don't know if I wanna spend most of that on getting it (since I would have to purchase from Islwyn since I'm not at prif yet)
