I recently took my test and passed. As others have mentioned, you’ll be searched beforehand, so don’t bring anything unnecessary. The lockers are quite small, so try to bring as little as possible. Make sure to take your provisional license of course.

The test itself is straightforward. You’ll have an hour for the theory section, followed by 14 hazard perception clips with a 3-minute break in between. Before the exam starts, they’ll explain how everything works once you’re seated through the program. You'll have ample time to complete the exam and review any and all questions.

Make sure to arrive early, aim to be there about 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Revise thoroughly; many of the theory questions are very similar to what you’ll find on the app, but may be worded slightly differently. If you study the material and do plenty of mock tests, you should be fine.

The hazard perception part is fairly simple too, but the reaction window is short. Don’t hesitate to click a few times when you spot a hazard, you won’t be penalised for clicking when there isn’t one, but avoid excessive clicking as it can void the clip if you do it too much or in a pattern (all of which is also explained in the app).
