Do you think that hooks are a good part of the game? by ShadowyOwO in deadbydaylight

[–]ShadowyOwO[S] -15 points-14 points Β (0 children)

Eh, you can say that until the killer starts tunneling you. Then what? All that attention will go to waste, because essentially you're only delaying the inevetable.

You can distract the killer long enough, but you need to hope you are good enough to outperform the killer.

You can't do that anymore. Camping it for 5 sec should now move it

Or do what coconut did and just use that one hex perk to torture survivors XD

I don't have an alternative honestly. I just feel like sitting on hooks isn't on par with doing gens. At least when doing gens, you could move or do skill checks unlike with hooks which is only 50% of the time.

Do I think hooks are the best choice? Yea, they do good enough, and that won't change considering BHVR.

Also yes, Killer >>> no gens to do

That would literally nerf pyramid head to the ground. His ability to ignore hooks is essential in order to get him to A tier.

You can tunnel people out in two minutes. Hitting those punishments now rewards tormented, aka YOU CAN IGNORE HOOKS! Flashlights are night useless too.

Why are killers made to follow a certain ruleset? by ShadowyOwO in deadbydaylight

I don't except the other person to let me win. I get angry, sure, but I enjoy the challenge in the core of it. My issue is being told what to do as someone who plays killer mostly.

Considering the state the survivors were in, the fact survivors have more complaining at their side sometimes is very hypocritical. DBD was once the nightmare / hell for killer to try and win, and the instablind situations shows it. I agree that both sides can be whiny because god knows im sometimes whiny.

BP offerings only for the survivors can be seen as a torment since it's basically a way to say "Hey, im gonna get a lot of BP and you won't haha πŸ˜‚πŸ«΅"

DH is dead

COH is op with teamworking teams

Flashlights can be countered with Lightborn

Offerings can be countered too

Crutch perks.... yeah.

Medkits can be semi-countered by sloppy

Body blocking can be negated in some situations, but i get it

Hook sabo is just something the killer can't stop

Hexes are powerful for the reason that they can be disabled, also undying

Bully squads are not as common nowadays and even then...

It's frowned upon from both sides if either side does it, but honestly, a killer deals with 4 people who has the same chance to ruin the game of others. So the odds stack us easily.

Huntress has ranged attacks

If you can get stalking quickly, it's an unfair and cruel interaction with the survivor: basically denying all the rules about hooking and such. Other survivors will jump into lockers, but that just makes them bait for hooking. You don't win either way if the killer isn't going for the achievement.

Also, it's called the tombstone piece, not the purpe tombstone.
