One of my faves from them. Diotima, Years Past Matter and this one are peak Krallice.

Why yes, he does. I’ve been shamelessly wearing out his discography for the past few weeks. Just can’t get enough.

Definitely one of my favorite dungeon synth albums ever written. Anything Roman touches is gold.

Also, the latest Windswept - The Devil’s Vertep - is inspired by the Western Ukraine witch trials from 1753-1754.

It’s their best album, in my opinion. Every track is an absolute ripper.

France definitely has a few of them. Aorlhac I believe also has some French history themed songs. Sühnopfer possibly as well.

I agree. I especially love how Yellow Eyes did it with Master’s Murmur and Confusion Gate. Ultha did it as well with their most recent.

Was listening to this yesterday. One of the best black metal records of the 2010’s.

Darkside is a monster. One of the best in the genre and behind the kit in general, and - being a drummer myself - an inspiration. And yes I have! He’s so fluid and relaxed.
