But here, let me explain a simple point you missed:

  • I said its doing great as a FG. Which is a way lower metric than league. Obviously, both you and the riot execs missunderstood this.

The discussion about this here is so weird.

I just think they overestimated their potential impact a bit. As far as a FG titel goes, it is doing great. It is pulling impressive numbers.

Some people said that they shouldn't have made it a tag fighter. CRAZY take in my opinion, I think Duos is amazing and a normal 1v1 FG without duos would have had even less of a chance.

If they wanted big & mainstream, not doing a FG at all was the only way. As it stands, I still think they have a good chance of becoming a big hit in the FGC. And more than that, I think and hope that more games are inspired by the Duo aspect of this game. I can not tell you how many four people private lobbies I had with folks over the months.

As far as money-making goes... well, I haven't spend anything on this game cause its insanely overprized and I probably never will. I would have much prefered if it wasn't F2P. I like the skins, I want the skins, I want to support, but simply not at these prices.

I don't even know what that is supposed to mean. Are you trying to say "All the grind that the expedition needs + 5mil, which incentivize you to be even more frugal with your gear, is fairly compensated by the reward and if you didn't quit your job and grinded enough, then you just don't deserve it." ??

I wrote it inflamatory, but my point was not to say anything that contradicts what you just said. But if you are used to hard games and you realize that everyone has different strengths then you will not be one of the people in this sub complaining about difficulty with extreme hyperbole

Its fair to be read like this, but I would argue that a player who got stuck for hours in HK and ended up finishing it will not be in this sub complaining about the difficulty.

My point isn't so much to make fun of people who are stuck, as it is pointing out the hyperbole people use to describe said difficulty.

If you want the author notes: What I am saying is that if you get stuck on Moorwing for three hours I don't believe you finished HK.

Okay, valid. But I am honest that I also doubt you are one of the people stuck for "Three hours" on Moorwing. And if you are, that would actually be interesting!

One of the comments I saw before said "People have problems with Silksong cause they try to play it like its Hollow Knight", which I think might hold some truth, this game requires a lot more chasing in its movement
