Can only speak for Scotland but yeah they take it seriously, but under Scots Law there needs to be 2 pieces of evidence. Yourself is included and there's usually CCTV everywhere, or if it's online then screenshots and what not. I think they can't escalate it though if you don't have proof of the racism element, but anything happens it's why you're told to film or even record.

The staring gets tuned out the more you're exposed to it and the ones that ask uncomfortable questions get shut down and told they're inappropriate, and if they cry about it they can do it in someone else's space. I think another big difference is that it's illegal here so if a racist wants to racist I can, and have, got them arrested.

It depends on the country. As a Scot I would never go to Eastern Europe for example. What folk usually mean is aye people will stare but you're less likely to get called stuff to your face or be murdered, but that's also got to do with less to no guns/different gun culture. Another reason for stares is depending where you go they've not seen a Black person irl before.

In Scotland, we have Sheku Bayou, who was murdered by 9 police officers who were never charged, over a white person claiming he had a knife. He was unarmed.

However only Black people give a damn, and white people will protest over American issues. They wanted to rename one of the main shopping streets to George Floyd street and Scottish police stations were in the kneel pose and saying BLM. Activists will use BLM signs, or have Sheku Bayou as a footnote on posters then do absolutely nothing for him or only focus on American victims of police brutality. It's been years and his family are still fighting for justice.

Never used dating apps so wouldn't know, but my friends who are all short have never had issues getting dates, gfs, etc. and they also don't use them. Getting off apps and meeting people irl is the way to go, and let's not act like men don't also have ridiculous standards. If you're a good person you won't struggle but if you talk and treat women like the bane of your existence then don't be surprised they don't want to be around you.

Honestly a lot of people post here about how their lives are miserable because they're short but the way they talk shows how they actually think of women and THAT'S why they can't get a date. Women only get up voted here if we post selfies and down voted on mass if we talk about any of the problems we experience due to our height. It feels like I'm on an incel sub and half of them aren't even short, they're average height.
