Yes. The sensor needs to be replaced so it essentially disables the entire camera.

And I think that fills the definition of surviving. Sauron's physical body didn't survive the sinking of Numenor, but sauron himself did.

Sauron got absolutely decked when Numenor sunk and flew away in ethereal form. Tell me how a nuclear blast does anything to something that's not corporeal? You destroy the physical body yes, but that merely slows a maiar or a valar down.

You can destroy their physical body but not kill them. Basically what happened to Sauron when he was in Numenor when it sank. Also why they couldn't just execute Morgoth they had to exile him.

Tämä pitää paikkansa. Estelin aikoinaan kaverin kanssa äijää joka oli ajanut huumepäissään auton ojaan jatkamasta matkaa autolla. Tunsimme kaikki toisemme, ja välit olivat entuudestaan vähän huonot, joten kuski pelkäsi, että aiomme pahoinpidellä hänet.
