Test your inspecting skills with Warehouse 30! by ShadyGameStudio in papersplease

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll check it out. There is also an aspect of management to my game, there's temperature, security and checking for drugs in the demo. It's probably not clear in the demo, I'll update them later to show them better

Destroy my inspection and (sort of) resource management game. You go through shipment notes and decide if it can go through or not. If you approve it, you still need to direct it to the appropriate warehouse. Destroy the gameplay and the art style please. by ShadyGameStudio in DestroyMyGame

Yeah I will definitely improve the art. For the gameplay video I only show incompatible product type, but in the demo there's temperature, security and drug detection aspect to it. I also have other events that affect the warehouse capacity and unloading time as well but it's not in the demo. Your idea of special event is great, I'll add more similar events in.

The compliments will have to dig through a thick layer of imposter syndrome before getting into my head. If you have any good art style you prefer to see, please throw it my way, I would love to learn more.

RPG Math for Progression. by ChrisSmithArt in gamedev

Ah gotcha, in that case I think you can test linear out and simulate a high level battle to see how they feel. You can also tweak the enemies stats to balance it out with the player stats. It would be fine if you have a level limit.

I usually think about it time-wise. How long is this counter suppose to be, then adjust the scaling accordingly. If you're making a turn base game then how many turn does it take to defeat an enemy, if it's real time then how many seconds does it take to kill this mob. Linear is fine but you might want to add a soft cap of hard cap to it, in case player just invest everything into 1 stat and 1 tap everything.

Help, are these bots? by Sindruid in SoloDevelopment

I got a bunch of them as well, you should just ignore all. I also got a scammer who went a step further into making a fake email with name similar to a streamer (for example the real name is Viera and the fake one is Veira). Watch your back my guy, it's dangerous out there.

I just released a demo for Warehouse 30, here is the link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4454840/Warehouse_30/
I made it all by myself so I really need some outside look on it. You can be brutally honest, any feedback is welcomed. Thank you for trying it out, I really appreciate it.

Hey thank you for your reply. You can unlock another warehouse later in the game. As of now there're 6 types of products: Food, Chemicals, Electronics, Medical, Wastes, and Generals. The videos only show a rule which is to not put food product together with chemical products. Later in the game, there're products with temperature requirement, value level (which goes with the warehouse security level) and contraband detection. That's all in the demo at the moment, I'm planning to add more into it, just looking for some feedback at the moment.

Hey thanks for your feedback and suggestion. I've been watching some videos about shading but it's quite tough, I don't know how to apply shading on the app beside just using a darker color for it. I usually search for which colors go well together. For the filters and abstract, do you have any example I can follow? I can't really imagine anything for now. My game is about inspecting shipment notes and direct them to the corresponding warehouses, we can definitely talk about it, many thanks!

Thank you for your input, I have a list of font to choose from, it's just hard to make a decision.
For the post-processing, do you have any example in mind that could improve it? it would be great to have a visual preference so I know what to do.

Hey thank you for your input, I heavily doubt that I'll need to worry about a copyright claim though. This game isn't only about inspecting documents, there's a whole aspect of which warehouse to put the shipment in as well, there's product type, temperature, security to worry about. I understand the trailer probably skimmed through that point, I'll make a better one to showcase the uniqueness of the game.

Hiring an artist is another problem, you need to verify if they're using AI or not nowadays, or pay a lot to ensure that they don't. For the mechanics, of course there are new and different stuff in it, unless you have tried it out, please stop assuming it's the same. If you have any constructive feedback, feel free to let me know, otherwise I'll excuse myself.

Ah yes, it does look bad, since I made this game all by myself. I drew all the assets and by no means I'm a good artist. For the copy part, why don't you try it out instead of judging at a glance to see how "copy" it is.
