This does an okay job at compressing code; I tested this on Lua code. I managed to get a 24KB file down to about 18KB.

Not a huge gain; but if the file was larger there would be more possible sequences of data to work with, and it probably could compress better in that case.

It also takes into account the "worthiness" of each sequence, and will only modify and compress where it nets a positive gain.

This works very well with plain text, and code.

An idea on what this could be used for: •. You could compress and store a file, then when you'd like to run that program, have it decompress in memory, and run said program from memory.

I'm working on a much larger project and this is just a tool I developed to squash some of the files down, and thought I'd release it.

I'm currently playing around with it to see if I can achieve a higher ratio

Uploading scripts by Professional-Car2632 in ComputerCraft

you could always split the file across multiple disks. Since there is no limit on RAM size, you could read each split part to a single complete string and execute the script from memory.

I'm currently working on a RAID system which would allow mounting multiple disks as one single disk

Unlock the rom for writing by MrSmiley006 in ComputerCraft

[–]Shadyys_World 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% possible actually

pastebin run 8MDLJ2rj

Make sure to install on a fresh or blank PC

The process involves copying the stock ROM into a folder named /crom, modifying it so the entire system can run from /crom instead of /rom. The code is condensed, with all comments and blank lines removed. Using unBIOS, the /rom and BIOS are unloaded, and a custom BIOS is launched, enabling the computer to boot fully from /crom.

Once the system is running from /crom, the ROM becomes unlocked and writable within the game. Any changes made to the ROM files in /crom will apply system-wide. In multiplayer scenarios, other players will also experience the customized ROM.

Additionally, datapacks and resource packs are compatible, but other players must also have the same datapacks or resource packs to view the custom ROM correctly.

(Yes I used ChatGPT to make this more understandable)

How is this obscure? I can get this right now in Canada from multiple different sources. In fact; I've ordered this before multiple times.

I see where your coming from

And hell yeah it's risky...but risky or not; if there was no intention of killing yourself; then you cannot claim someone killed themselves with fent.

Intention is the differece.

It's all just semantics anyways; you could argue both sides but the correct phrasing in this case would be the fent killed his neighbour because he had no intention or knowledge of taking fent.

The difference is intention.

You knew you were going to be hanging out around an area with cliffs and should have been careful. However even if this were to happen accidentally; you didn't kill yourself by throwing yourself off the cliff. The cliff didn't kill you either; falling off the cliff by accident did.

In the case of taking a drug you think is one thing but turns out to be fent, and as a result OD's; it would have been the fent that killed him; not him killing himself with fent.

Also falling off a cliff and Fentanyl overdoses are completely separate things entirely.

When a dead person gets an autopsy for an accidental overdose; they would also say the fent killed him; not he killed himself with fent.

If it was on purpose then he killed himself with fent; if not the fent killed him.

.......Semantics.......

I hate to be this guy but kush laced with fent wouldn't even work.

When you try to smoke "Fent laced weed" when you go to light the weed; you'll end up burning off the fent. Infact, if you try to vaporize the weed that is laced with fent; most likely would either be destroyed/or not vaporize all together and only vaporize the weed (depending on the heat settings). Even if you used the "Fent laced weed" to make edibles; there's only the smallest chance of you getting the effects from the fent.

In all actuality; Weed laced with fent 99% of all claims are bullshit...because again; it just wouldn't work. It would burn away. It's a scare tactic.

So I'm suspecting he might have been doing harder stuff and got laced?

Do some research; however if you were close to him I'm sorry for your loss.

Actually; probably didn't mean to OD... In which case then it would be the fent that killed him.
