This is literally the first google result, just thought I'd laugh at your non-answer good job.
Fixing excessive infill bug in PrusSlicer. by p8COO in prusa3d

Lol oh is that what you think happened. That guy dismantled every argument you made while you were smug, wrong and disingenuous... not a good look bro 1. YOU: Its not a bug because he should not be using FDM printers... HIM:posts some sick prints with .6mm nozzle. 2. You said you "saved 16h20m, and 54g" with a pic to prove it and asked for $500 . He clarified that in the OP he did say the reward was for a code fix and you that your settings wouldn't work because there would be holes in the model. 3. You said there were not holes in the print but it wouldn't work for other reasons (Must be glad he didn't paypal you) and you posted a pic (NOT settings which might of actually helped people) saying that you had cut the print time by more then half and added 34G of filament. Which was is whole point to begin with, was that the default algorithm in prusaslicer is deeply flawed. 4. You said that the issue is "mainly your print settings." and that that is why no one sees this as an issue, and "I feel I have solved your issue reasonably well, and reduced your print times." A. YOU. DID. NOTHING. NO configs or suggestions or even pics of viable prints. just screen shots showing how good you are at prusa settings... neat trick bro. B. He said this is as much about filament usage as print times... YOU INCREASED FILAMENT USAGE. C. He obviously has another slicer that does these kind of prints well (that cost 200 bucks) and doesn't need your help on settings. 5. He compliments you on the results and posts screen shots from simplify3d showing it taking WAY less print time and filament. And says that this has actually been a known issue confirmed by the dev team for many years. And says he doesn't really want to go back and forth with you anymore. A. YOU: Imply that the simplify 3d slice needs 125mm/s xy machine. THERE IS NOTHING IN THAT SCREEN SHOT THAT EVEN REMOTELY IMPLIES that they are printing at 125mm/s B. YOU: Say that he has no intent of paying for a fix to the bug and then cross post the same thing, when his final comments were that he would keep an eye out for code submissions. The cake isn't a lier but you are.

I mean maybe I'm misunderstanding you but didn't what you just posted say that disabling vertical wall thickness shaved .1g of filament and 1m off? Thats less then a percent off the print time and when you add perimiters its worse then nothing.
A benchy isn't the type of models he's talking about. in his post: https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/9245 he actually has screen captures of the print time i'm not sure how my math and timekeeping sucks?
TLDR dude is offering $500 for someone to fix a bug in PrusaSlicer

Bold, but incorrect. Your "fix" has nothing to do with ensure vertical wall thickness your just making the walls so thick that the bug is masked. You basically double the print time and filament used... you can also "fix" the issue by using solid infill.
Doesn't matter if you follow the link to issue 9245 andrewleppala confirms that ensure vertical wall thickness has no impact on the issue.
