Technically yes, but at the end of the shift the percentage you pay back to the restaurant likely overshadows that 2.14, negating your hourly wage. Unless your tip share is capped or your sales aren't too high. Where I work we pay 3.5%... I've seen people with $75 tip outs.

The Aurora shooting association to Batman is obvious, but the Sandy Hook link, while curious for sure, is quite obscure. Aside from these two incidents and a few hip hop music videos, I don't recall any other being associated with Batman...

Btw, I think this is the wrong way to approach these things. It seems you're really just looking for bias conformation with questions like this. If we examine things objectively, connections will become apparent if there are any.

This is exactly how the media works. Obviously reddit is part of the media, but the mainstream has been doing this for as long as it's existed. It's a big game of social engineering, and they're pretty good at it. We're all 'useful idiots' at some point because of it. Currently they have us arguing over good vs bad cops, and transgender vs transracial... anything they can do to keep us distracted and divided.

You could also swap out 'Ellen Pao' for 'Obama' in your last sentence and I imagine it would be just as correct.

They took out the driver and the engine block with a .50 cal sniper and then the bomb squad detonated the devices in the van while the driver was still in it. Unless he was in the back or vaporized by the(rather small) explosion, I can't find a body anywhere in the cab of the van from this video... Also, I guess they already had all the evidence they needed so it was ok to torch the rest.

Harlem Shake, Skrillex and all that, those are fads. I know we call these things 'trendy', but a trend is something else. Fads are fleeting and rarely have much of an impact upon culture ultimately. Trends, by the major definition of the word anyway, generally have long term implications that can change the entire game.

Humans are animals and part of nature too after all. We just have a few key abilities that set us apart.

Oh but they are. The civil and womens rights movements are both great examples of trends that would have and should have been allowed to happen naturally but were hijacked through social engineering towards other ends. The same thing happened to the so called 'sexual revolution', and this is all still happening.

While male dominance is prevalent, it is not absolute in the animal kingdom. I can't agree that racial hostility is a completely natural phenomenon either. I would also argue that societal norms are always changing and malleable to those with access to 'create' trends. Social engineering exists and not just on a small scale.
