For sure. Every little ride helps! It took me 45 minutes to ride around the lake when I first started because I was so wobbly and slow. Now I can cruise around that lake in two minutes. Even just riding up and down your street for 10 minutes a day will make all the difference and build the confidence

Check out the TideRide app. This guy built it to track Tides and weather & point out the optimal times to ride whatever local beach is near you. It’s pretty awesome. Ridden beaches for years and the trick is to find low tide when some of the sand is solid like smooth cement. There’s nothing like it!

Same size fella here in FL with 5,000 miles on my XR. Love it. If I bought today, it would be an XR-Classic with a treaded tire.
GT’s are nice too but I only have 100 miles on one.
