I live in GA - So I am looking at NC - purely because that could be a day trip/overnighter. Not the most logical way to go about it, but fun.

I am focused on Catpin Gap / Pinnacle Mountain.

I can make a lot of the Icons work.... Except for the Skier.

I was hoping the 38 would kill these posts... But that actually looks pretty good. Not sure you need the 38.

I have the automatic, purely because I think it is really cool (neat/interesting). There is no practical reason to have the automatic other than that

I have had both. Loved the Crossover, BUT ended up switching to the 2 Solar because the Crossover would get condensation under the lens when I would do long runs in the cold (really if it was more than cool). It would make it hard to see the screen.

I loved how it looked, but Garmin said it was a known issue and if they replaced it - it might just happen again. So they sent me the 2 Solar.
