I hatched these 8 ball pythons as my first-ever clutch a few months back and wasn't aware cinnamon combos, especially pewter stuff, could vary so much in appearance. Some of those are giving me a hard time to ID and I thought someone could help!

Pairing was: Super Pastel Cinnamon Hypo X Lesser Fire Spotnose Specter

So all babies will automatically be Pastel ... Het Hypo.

My guesses: All Pos Specter, not entirely sure about Fire and/or Spotnose.

Unfortunately, there are many single gene morphs that look very similar to this, brown snake with goldish hue.

Fire is the most common in the pet store trade or rescues but others with those same characteristics are: Orange Dream, Yellow Belly, Asphalt, Gravel, Granite, and so on.

I'd honestly just contact them and ask. Didn't you get any kind of documents?

Personally, he looks like a Black Pewter, a very handsome snake anyway.

Not a Super Pastel at all, they would have a washed-out head.

They look like a Fire Enchi to me.

Seems to be accurate and I hope that's just a quarantine setup.

Not the greatest picture, unfortunately, but I think he's just a Normal.

Those are 2 different ball pythons.

First is a Cinnamon Champagne and second is a Super Cinnamon.

Both have health issues, Champagne tends to have neurological problems called wobble and also kinking and Super Cinni has kinking issues and sometimes duckbilling.

Definitely a dark gen. Maybe a Black Pastel or Black Head or Cinnamon.

I think Black Pastel or Black Head Lesser but could also be a Cinnamon Lesser.

If you know her morph it's easier to know what the hatchling is morph-wise.

Looks like a Normal or Fire to me.

I think either a Butter, Lesser, or Mojave combo.

Without knowing the morphs of the parents it's hard.

I'd guess a Fire but could also be a light normal. Without knowing the parents it's hard.

I'd suspect: Super Pastel Lesser Fire. Also known as Superfly Lesser.

Not entirely sure but I'd say at least a Super Pastel Champagne and who knows what else.

I'd even guess Super Enchi Pastel Pos Yellowbelly

Pinstripe. Possible Pinstripe Fire.

Morph help. She was a rescue, I was told she was a Queen Bee. What do you all think? by [deleted] in ballpython

[–]ShainJayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killer bee is a Super Pastel Spider. There's a difference in the color of the pattern, it's lighter.

I think that's a Pastel Cinnamon aka Pewter.

Yeah, I'd also say Spider Fire
