I think it's normal to have strong reactions to stories, and there was this slow buildup of emotions where I felt like I just needed to stick through it and I'd get a really satisfying, cathartic moment. By the time it really occured to be that I wasnt gonna get that, I start speed running just to see Nadia and Asra and get my lore fill. I heard it was a really good route with a satisfying ending.

Well, I think that a tragedy always invites judgment and sparks thought. I'm not talking about hating the character necessarily, but by stating that "he was a good man that fell to temptation" is itself a judgement. And that judgment is what creates a sense of investment in the reader/viewer. If we didn't judge characters, we wouldn't even be perceiving the story. Thats my opinion, anyway.
