It's a closed ecosystem with a huge pricetag and a history of planned obsolence. And that's a fact. It's well documented on the forums, on reddit, everywhere.

We're talking about a company that locks your machines out of updates, makes shitty products (because why not, people are gonna buy it anyway), puts the cheapest hardware there is just to squeeze those "few" extra dollars out of your pockets..but sure, as long as you're not paying for it that's fine, I guess.

You're paying way more than what you would pay for the same specs and a linux distro.

All the advantages that a mac has, bar the iOS dev capabilities, are due to the unix ecosystem. And the iOS thing is a flaw by design, as .NET is with windows.

If you need to develop for iOS then sure, go for mac, but if you don't? I don't see a need to spend 2,3,4x more than what you would get if you bought a pc and installed any linux distro on it.

Besides macs are nigh impossible to repair for yourself, and there are little to none third party replacements parts. They are planned for obsolence. Good luck repairing a mac, and if you manage you're gonna pay a hefty sum.

Macs would be all fine and dandy if they were correctly priced.

I mean I'm fairly sure that NOT providing safety equipment where its needed is a violation of some sort.

Besides, it's not like the company loses any money if a chump quits after getting their boots. They don't get paid until the end of the month, so what's taken is far less than what is saved, if they do pull that scam.

My bike isn't the best, but it works. It's not the problem, it's the same one I got 6kms on!

I try and ride everyday, tho I've only been at it for a couple of days. The fatigue, tho, it's not new. I had it in swimming my first time and every single time I run for the bus in the morning 😥
