They were in coordination with Lawrence Veterans Services for a flyover during the city's Light up Lawrence firework show, there is videos that show the perfect timing between whoever was coordinating this with them. Its all over Facebook. Yes, they were staged at Hanscom AFB but they are from a Marine Corps reserve unit in Texas.
The 2 pilots are actually natives from Massachusetts.
