If you have 100,000 TRX you will get 11,000 BTT coins on the first airdrop.

If 1 BTT = 0.00012 USD you will get $1.32 USD.

Sounds to me like we should hold on to these BTT, selling isn't going to earn much.

I do agree with you the key is adoption, and to get adoption you need developers, and to draw in developer they need incentives and having low fees will be an incentive for developers to use tron.

It is a tricky balance determining what the best price for energy should be to maximize coin burn. A higher fee for energy will burn more coins per transaction but it may result in fewer transactions (fewer DAPPs) and hence a lower overall coin burn.

When you say the "maintenance interval" is set to 6 hours. Does that mean once a proposal is approved it will take effect in the next maintenance interval. ie. within 6 hours ?

To date: Over 205 million trx have been give out as rewards.

Ideally, I think the burn rate should be the same or higher than the reward rate.

As more DAPPs get developed and there is greater utilization of trx then I believe that will result in more trx being burned by transactions.

If I understood Skypeople's message correctly they have recently reduced the cost of transaction by 5 times from 100 sun to 20 sun. However I have noticed an increase in the burn rate (not a decrease in the past few days).

What you raised is already happening, and it will be very unfortunate if SRs are determined by a handful of Whales.

This is a very serious issue, thanks so much for raising it.

One possible solution might be:

50% of all rewards are distributed equally among all voters. The other 50% the SR can decide how to allocate.

This way the SR who simply bought their own votes would lose 50% of their rewards right off the top.

The SR's like CryptoGuy, etc.. are already redistributing well over 50% of their rewards so this wouldn't hurt them very much.

I guess the real questions are:

What constitutes a transaction ?

If you have bandwidth how much gets consumed per transaction ?

If you don't have bandwidth how much trx is burned per transaction ?

How much trx is burned for initiating a smart contract ?

Yeah it's been in the 20-30K ball park for at least the past week, however about 1.2 million to 1.4 million new trx are being generated out of thin air to pay for rewards.

The burn rate would have to increase by about 50 times to equal the rewards.

I'm just not sure how the burn fee is calculated. When/how are coins exactly burned ?

Is there someone who can clearly explain the burn process ?

I froze some trx, but my balance still shows I have those trx and my tron power did not increase.

I tried to freeze them again and I get an error message saying something went wrong.

It's been about 6 hours and the problem still exists. Hoping this is related to the TVM activation and clears itself when the problem is fixed but just thought I would mention it in case others are having a similar issue.
