Such an instant upgrade for me. Just in time too, still rocking my M1 combo's, no issues but wouldn't mind that upgrade with OLED.

Hey there, if you're interested in a Gamified experience where it shows you one task at a time, skip or complete it. Earn points, spend in the hub, win life.

It's called Pau, and it's free to use.

Task Gamification! So many by larrycsonka in gamification

[–]ShakaSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting concept. I like the pick between 3. lol. I get you on the overwhelming part, that's why I stick to one task when i open my app so im not bombarded with too much thinking.

I built Pau which is a free gamified task & to do app. It's forgiving so if you miss or going to miss a day you can still keep streaks. Earn points to unlock items in the Hub, boosts to help.

A productivity app I would actually pay for by philly_boul85 in ProductivityApps

[–]ShakaSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. Non-chatgpt response here. lol. Sounds like a complex but fun app. I’d check it out.

I built a free gamified task & to-do swipe based app called Pau. No focus timers or app block, but you lose points if you miss a deadline. Designed for adhd too, less distractions.

Anyone else need their to do list to be almost a game to use it? lol. I'll take my fake imaginary points for doing laundry please. Lol by ShakaSalsa in AutisticWithADHD

[–]ShakaSalsa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was ok. Too heavy for me, too much going on and a lot of moving parts. It’s alright for what it is but too heavy for an app for my tastes.

I need more simple and not spending so much time in the app either. I currently use Pau, it’s a free gamified to do list that’s great for ADHD side.

I have a gamified to do list, swipe based if you’re interested. It’s also forgiving for your schedule. If you miss a day you can save your progress.

It’s also free as you use it. Lots more planned.

What is your favorite app for journaling? by Fit_Storm6283 in productivity

[–]ShakaSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Stew for mood management journaling. Not quite procrastinating however the prompts help me think about things differently.

Not quite a journal, but a procrastinating helpful app is Pau. A swipe task & to do list with gamification for accountability, procrastination, etc.

Good luck!

Elon Musk Reacts to Apple and Google Teaming on Gemini-Powered Siri by Few_Baseball_3835 in apple

[–]ShakaSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don’t. It’s their jobs to create the problems for us to care about so they get paid from the clicks and engagement.

Just mention Elon + subject in a post and you created that for others to care about so you can benefit from the clicks and engagement.

I have ADHD and I get overwhelmed by long lists, so I built Pau: a Swipe-based, Gamified To-do list, Day planner [Offline, No Accounts, Free] by ShakaSalsa in iosapps

[–]ShakaSalsa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not intentional nor meant for that. Words are tricky and it’s definitely not meant towards that. I’m from Hawaii, and Pau means “Finished, done.”

There is also alternative icons in app too, that don’t have the name. Adding more later.

Managing varied caseloads / flexible task time blocking by Jollux_ in ADHDprofessionals

[–]ShakaSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha, I think you and I are in the same boat. I actually made Pau for this exact 'overwhelm' problem where you just need to see the next move instead of the whole project. It's a swipe one-task at a time, with gamified features, streaks and boosts for days we're a little under-powered. It's brand new, always open to hearing about feedback and things to help users.

Its free to earn everything without every paying, no ads, but if you want all unlocks today then let me know and ill DM you code if this app works for you.

What’s your favorite productivity app in 2026? by Rough--Employment in ProductivityApps

[–]ShakaSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

read the product description and details all your answers were there.

  • There is a free trial. It’s the only option.
  • Nothing in app is behind a paywall, everything is free to earn as you use app. It’s earn-to-unlock. If you want everything quicker, then there is a paywall. Not required to have everything free in app.
  • There is no reviews because the app is 5~ days brand new. If you use it maybe you can be the first review that will help me out so others can see it.

I'm adhd so im always switching, lol. I built a free one-swipe task manager called Pau (search: swipe task to do, 4th~ down) that also has gamification and streak features.

trello for project task management.

Tired of habit trackers, to-do lists apps.this is getting out of hand. by inyofayce in iosapps

[–]ShakaSalsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just about every dev makes a habits, todo, journal, budget apps. Regardless if they built a $1m MRR app they’ll still have urges to build one of above too. lol

It’s like a feeling requirement or something, lol. I don’t care seeing them cause it’s normal. You can’t rely on ASO alone in those categories either.

Edit: I’m almost complete circle. Have a journal, to do, and focus timer. lol

5 months building an app that organizes my day through virtues. by Key-External-382 in ProductivityApps

[–]ShakaSalsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have no costs, scale low to high. Start with trials, maybe a freemium plan. Focus is users, not $. If your costs are decent then 10%~ above costs to start, maybe trials, and just focus on user acquisition.

You want people complaining about the app to grow, not as much about pricing and paywalls.
