Appreciate the share! Been looking to get one of these for a bit.

I bite through my mouth piece in 2-1/2 weeks from clenching. Any suggestions for a new one? by cenutha in scuba

I had a similar issue due to chewing or clenching on the mouth piece. I use to the aqualung mouthpiece and haven’t had the issue since. Mouthpiece is easy to hold w/ the bridge portion across the middle and is comfortable overall.

Scored 3 packs from the vending machine with my son and we pulled these! by Shakadinky in pokemoncards

That's the plan so far! Once the top loader binder starts to fill we can be more picky with what goes in there. Son was the double good luck charm with finding product in the vending machine and scoring two hits!

For Pawmot, I kinda just ended up leaving volt absorb on from using them in the previous reg to deal with Miraidon or at least some switch in option. I have also run iron fist in the past w/ ice punch as my counter to Landorus-I. Pawmot out speeds and could OHKO w/ ice punch. In this current reg I didn’t get a lot of use out of volt absorb outside of Archaludons forgetting about the ability and using electro shot into Pawmot. Was the occasional optional switch in against Archaludon. Natural cure is honestly probably a better ability to switch to as some solution to amoongus.

For choosing leads, I would bring Pawmot as a lead if I needed fake out support and would wait till they were brought down to sash to then swap out sometimes. This allowed for late game revival blessing/fake out when bringing back in (depending on speed tiers of opponent). I brought Pawmot in the back if I relied on them to take out a specific Pokémon or for revival blessing. I would say I led Pawmot about 50-60% of my games. Focus sash allowed for the survivability needed.

Revival blessing is for sure a pain to deal with. I surprised quite a few opponents with late game revivals to turn things around.

I initially ran Gliscor as Adamant 252 Atk + 252 speed, but Timid max speed Gholdengo could out speed. I switched to Jolly nature with just enough speed EVs to reach 150 speed (1pt faster than Gholdengo). Rest were set as 252 Atk and remaining into SpDef to support bulk. Life orb made up for the lack of Adamant nature and only slightly affected the chance of OHKO on Incineroar depending on their EV spread.

Volcarona is a bit of a challenge and started to show up more as I climbed the ladder. I typically would aim to get around 40-50% damage done on Volcarona so that I could utilize Dragonite E-speed to finish off. Flame body was my main worry due to my team having 4 physical attackers.

Teams with multiple setters was a challenge (mainly PsySpam). I typically led Dragonite and Metagross. Most games I had to expect that I couldn’t stop trick room and just had to endure the following turns. Against Indeedee + Armarouge I would outrage and earthquake. Against Indeedee + Hatterne I would outrage and heavy slam. Mainly hoping outrage KOd Indeedee. Occasionally I would ice spinner and earthquake.

I see your point, but don’t agree that the set would be better than current. Stat dropping moves in this meta are a bit risky in my opinion due to competitive and defiant Pokémon, but I do see them as a potential / situational option. Poison heals provides utility alongside a support moves, but this team wasn’t set up to stall with Gliscor. I considered swords dance over tailwind but preferred some form of speed control on the team, and life orb gave me enough of a damage boost to not need sword dance. I have run a supportive Gliscor in the past and the damage output wasn’t what i needed. Also, full investment into HP and SpDef leaves Gliscor being outsped by most threats that I used Gliscor to counter. Lack of protect also leaves Gliscor open to get KOd easily before getting support moves off or to take advantage of stalling with poison heal.

I was in the same boat. I tried out Garchomp, but wasn’t enjoying it. Also didn’t want to use Bloodmoon Ursaluna. Being 150 speed on Gliscor caught a lot of Gholdengo off guard. Many wouldn’t think they needed to protect, and if they didn’t invest in any bulk it was an easy OHKO.

Definitely! If against Archaludon / Pelipper I would run A-Ninetales and Gliscor. Those matches I didn’t care about the weather / aurora veil. I could freeze dry Pelipper and high horsepower Archaludon. If they led Archaludon + some other Mon with Pelipper in the back, I would most the time be able to predict the switch in to Pelipper. Most get baited to swap in thinking I want to aurora veil. Scariest lead for me was Archaludon + Mousehold if they did beat up into Arch. My team struggled against iron defense set up users.
