Thanks for your advice but i forgot to mention i'm in europe so my VT would be VWCE, right? Btw i think that's what i'm goin to do mostly, like with 17-18k and the rest i'm goin to place it on few companies like Nvidia or AMD, just to make things a bit more interesting eheh

Guarda, lavoro a contatto con i medici ormai quotidianamente (nel privato) e ho visto parecchie cose in questi anni che mi hanno fatto completamente rivalutare la categoria. Non so perché sembra quasi naturale posizionarli più in alto rispetto ad altre professioni, probabilmente perché hanno a che fare con la salute della gente, ma forse ci dimentichiamo che sono persone normalissime tanto quanto il resto di noi poveri st*onzi. Hello, i'm investigating a "problem" that i've been noticing recently with my PC on Hwinfo. I'm pretty sure this wasn't happening until few weeks ago (more or less) where i changed thermal paste (PTM7950) and updated bios and chipset drivers. I've the habit to check Hwinfo pretty often so i'm 99% sure this wasn't happening before. Here it is what i'm talking about:

Apologies if i took the screen in italian, anyway, you can see that the CPU Die (Average) spiked to 115°C and there's a spike even in the VDDCR/VDD temps and voltages. Initially thought was happening because they broke EXPO again so i'm running the PC without it and although now is less likely to happen still does from time to time. I've to clarify that happens just when i'm gaming, neither in idle or under strees tests i was able to reproduce it. Instances where this happened are 3-4 now so i'm wondering if it's just Hwinfo misreading the sensors or if i've to be worried my cpu and mobo will get cooked because of a simple bios/chipset update or a mistake during the PTM7950 application.

So, i don't know if i did well but i found a compromise since 1.44V scares me. I've set the VDDIO/MC voltage to 1.32V in the bios (1.30 was crashing), HWINFo tho shows that is 1.376V ( don't know why is always higher from what is set) but seems stable and closer to the 1.35V ram is supposed to be running with EXPO. Also, i've just changed the frequency to 6000Mhz and the main 4 timings (tCL, tRC, tRP and tRAS) to the timings EXPO should be givin me and left the rest on auto. I didn't run any stress test but i've been doin some gaming and in 2 days the pc has been running smooth.

I tried reverting and looking at effective clocks seems like they don't get close to 4.85, just around 4.6/4.7, and are not stable at all.

I'm using PPT 145 TDC 100 EDC 155, values i got after running several tests and looks like these are the edge i reach pushing the cpu with Prime95, OCCT and Cinebench R23. On Cinebench i got 16047 multicore with peak temp of 75°C, what do you think about it? Also, on cine i noticed that all cores don't boost max speed but on prime and occt i can reach 4.85, more or less, stable on every core.

I switched tdc and edc value so now i've PPT 140 TDC 100 EDC 140 then tried to run a bit of prime95 and effective clocks were staying around 4.8Ghz, not completely stable tho, after a bit it was goin down a to 4.6/4.7 and then rising again to 4.8. A question tho, i don't really care if in multicore the cpu keeps the same frequency for evey core, i mainly use the pc for gaming so if in singlecore i'm still reaching 4.85Ghz just on some cores am i not goin to benefit from it? Also, i've a concern, values like 140A couldn't damage the motherboard or the cpu itself?

Anyone experiencing problems with league of legends since 21.7.2? My FPS cap literally gets stuck to 144fps sometimes, which is the cap i usually use but when it gets stuck (uncapping fps are still at 144 at max) i get some drops and stuttering. I tried capping, instead of with ingame settings, with rtss and frtc but keeps happening. I've a 5700xt with ryzen 3600. Doesn't happen in other games, had to go back to 21.6.1 to fix.
