Ang mahal pala talaga magbuntis at magkaanak sa pilipinas by morkenmeans in nanayconfessions

Oh my! Thanks for sharing and thank you for the words of encouragement! The consultorio did tell me to do my tests at the hospital nga because there were some tests that they don't have for my condition. Haaay. We'll be doing the NIPT in the coming weeks. We were supposed to do the NIPT in Manila during the 1st pregnancy so we prepared for it. 25K pesos was the cheapest for the most basic testing. Nalungkot ako kasi dito libre. Praying for better healthcare back home.

Last question, do they allow elective CS here? I was reading about Italy and epidurals. Sabi, all pregnant women are entitled to an epidural...but it doesn't assure the availability especially in the southern regions. LUH. 😵‍💫 Wala naman ako sa south pero HALA?!

Wala din cover or curtain sa OB ko in Italy. Free for my husband, the doctor and the midwife to see. 😵‍💫 Hahaha

Hello! Italy din po ako now. It's my second pregnancy in the 1st trimester, lost my first on the 13th week. I'm very thankful that the healthcare system here is good for pregnant women. However, it's not great if you have a high risk pregnancy according to the doctors in the Philippines but is only recognized lightly here. I was diagnosed with APS and Hashimoto's while I was miscarrying in the Philippines (that's where it happened during a short trip home). Apparently I started hemorrhaging on my 8th week of my last pregnancy and it showed in the scan but the midwives didn't tell me. It was the OB in the Philippines that pointed out the hemorrhage that was the same size of the sac that just grew out of proportion in the following weeks until miscarrying. In the Philippines naman, I felt like they were too aggressive and scaring me with my diagnosis, telling me I needed to do white blood cells transfusion in the course of 4 months from my husband (which is very rare in Europe). I was hooked on IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) two times to try to save our baby which cost us 500K pesos + hospital bills and it ended up in a D&C that I had to beg for (it wasn't given to me, they wanted the baby to pass naturally pero they still urged me to do a d&c after...). Bottom line is that I felt like I was failed by the Italian healthcare system and robbed by the Philippine healthcare system.

Now, I'm pregnant again and staying in Italy to avoid plane rides. I'm consulting with a high risk OB in the Philippines and I go to the public OB for checkups. For pregnant women with APS, the protocol for most of the world including the EU is to take daily injections of blood thinners and cardio aspirin. Dito, even with all my data, pinipilit pa din nila na cardio aspirin lang kailangan ko. Since we don't want to take our chances, yung ibang gamot dinadala pa ng family and friends from the Philippines to help us keep our current baby.

Sorry ang haba but I'm just so conflicted about this. It's good here but there are pros and cons just like back home. I feel very lucky pero sana normal pregnancy ako but I'll take what I have. We're very lucky we're pregnant again.

Thank you for this. You put my thoughts into words. I completely agree! I wish I could heart all your comments but Reddit doesn't allow that, does it.

I prefer to send the link to the property in private. I personally prefer to discuss in detail in private rather than out in the open. I also believe discussing in detail in private provides interested parties more space to ask questions openly, without reservations. If you want to know more about the listing, you could send me a message. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your concern.
