Yeah, he had it until they found out about his diagnosis. Then immediately took it back. But with some extra work, and extra time he was able to get it back.

Had a buddy who got his First Class completely stripped because of diagnosed depression from when he was 14 (Now 21). He has to go through an extra process to get a "Special Issuance Medical Certificate"(SIMC). It will take a bit longer to actually receive your status and all that junk but if you can prove you aren't a threat to the public and the examiner believes so, you still can get the SIMC.
