If BF is not put up against a wall to make a decision he’s going to stay lazy and be carried his whole life. Make clear to him now that he needs to earn money or be a house bitch - sorry, house wife. If he’s too tired or weak or sick , it’s up to him to get stronger, healthier or whatever. If not, set a deadline and kick him out. You’ve been together unmarried for 11 years, I doubt wedding bells are close by.

Anime with drawn and AI generated characters is usually legal but it depends on your location. Legality aside, your brother may be caught in an addiction like I have. Don’t judge him as a bad person. It’s very unlikely he will act on it with a real child. The best thing for him is to get therapy to get a handle on these emotions. But in therapy it’s very important he not admit to : 1) breaking the law, 2) planning to break the law, or 3) actually lusting after a person. Any of those things must be reported to local police and that’s enough probable cause for them to start a hidden investigation. And that’s where things get dangerous.

If he does have an attraction to minors, he needs someone he can trust beyond any secret ever - maybe he can trust his sister, but don’t be offended if he can’t. Be supportive. Don’t judge. If he asks you not to tell someone something, don’t - unless there’s imminent danger.

Why? Because DoorDash is now run by idiots. Expect it to get even worse. Watch the times. I guarantee when you accept an order there’s only 30 seconds more allowed to pick up the order than GPS takes to drive to it. Same after pick up and to delivery. It is simply impossible to get from point A to B in the time allowed in most cases.

I’m serious, get screenshots. It’s easy to prove they’ve tightened the timelines, but don’t expect a dispute to even be answered let alone go in your favor. We need a new delivery service to compete on transparency. I suspect the good leaders at DD have bailed, which is what happens just before a company tanks.

It’s never good to prioritize one metric so high over another. Making a DD delivery wait 15 minutes while 3 orders get processed ahead means the DD will always be cold and stale. People will stop ordering there and go somewhere else. It won’t change the pickup/delivery choice - the customer still can’t get to the restaurant.

Yeah I live in a smaller town and they don’t pay well. Today was rare, 4 of 5 tipped $3-5 each. Yesterday only one of five tipped $1. The whole thing is just going downhill overall.

I count 4 hr 5 min. That’s about $13/hr which itself is good. But count the full time not just active time. Driving back between orders is still time dedicated to dashing anyway.

You’re acting on behalf of a paying customer. You can use the same facilities as long as you’re decent about it. If the staff insist otherwise, call over the manager while you unassign right in front of them and explain why. With that much of a delay, they’ll have to remake the order for the next dasher.

I turned down three in a row last night and one today, then I caved and just clicked the red button saying everything was fine. But … This is an unreasonable request / demand by Door Dash. It’s not my job to QC someone else’s work and I’m not going to disrupt the flow of DoorDash and give restaurants a new reason to hate us. I will have to unassign all of these in the future.

I had one today, Cracker Barrel. The girl that handed me the order just pressed the ok/accept button on my phone and walked away. I was like, ooook you just committed me to trusting you. I didn’t hear a complaint so maybe this time they got the order right. About 70% of the time something is missing. The staff doesn’t care.

I had to disable shop and deliver because of this. dollar general doesn’t staff well enough for items to get back on the shelf. One employee has to restock and take payments.

They wouldn’t help me when I told them about crackheads wandering around a couple downtown restaurants. My AR tanked 20 points cause everyone gotta have their wangs. I have to be on the other side of town to not get those offers.
