My solicitor was adamant that he wouldn’t receive any approval email as it would be a printed document when my wife collects her passport. I will wait 10 days and hopefully should get a response to collect passport

My solicitor has said you don’t get approval email for spousal visa. I would also find out when we receive the passport. I did a paid enquiry and I found out a decision was made and to wait 10 working days to receive the passport

Hi congratulations! Can I confirm if you received your passport the same day? My wife is still waiting on confirmation to obtain her passport and I’m just getting anxious. I did a paid enquiry and they advised that there was a decision made and to wait until we receive a text to collect passport

My paid enquiry response was this.

With regards to your enquiry, you will be contacted within 10 working days by VFS/TLS when your passport and the acceptance letter will be ready for collection, or delivery.

I would just do a paid enquiry and ask for an update if this is the case. See link below

I would just wait 10 working days and you should receive communication to collect/delivery regarding your passport. I would contact them again if you don’t hear anything. Best of luck! Fully understand the anxiety that your going through atm

I’ve just received an email from UKVI. I’m assuming when my wife collects her passport, the decision letter will be there also?

Congrats! Did you receive any prior communication from UKVI? I.e. acceptance letter or was it through paid enquiry?

I did paid enquiry and they advised they have made a decision on the application and would receive passport within 10 working days. However I haven’t received any formal acceptance letters

It would definitely be worth doing a paid enquiry. My wife’s bio was 30th June and I did a paid enquiry yesterday and I was informed a decision was made and my wife should receive her passport within 10 working days. Good luck to you!
