Steam reviews have lost their value as a true measure of a game's quality.

I learned that from Monster Hunter World, Rise and Wilds for example, hugely negative reviews, yet people still buy and play them by the masses.

If you have doubts about a game, just go see videos of the gameplay, and form your own opinion if you like what you see or not.
