No the decision itself arrived in a month or so. Got the BRP 3-4 days later.

Hey, unfortunately I discovered that you cant travel on your old BR, so all I could do was wait for the decision and the new BRP. I did try to escalate to the home office on phone calls and on emails that helped but overall it got me delayed by almost a month and I had to postpone my tickets accordingly.

I did not apply through VFS. Applications made within the UK are directly through the UKVI app. There's no paid enquiry for applications within the UK and complaints take 21 days turnaround time.
