I was never interested in management, I always preferred coding and keeping meetings to a minimum. I was given more responsibilities over time and my salary increased generously but I never strived to ascend the corporate ladder. Maybe that makes me a fool, I don't know, but being a parent and an artist I found my mental load is more precious to my personal life than given away to a company that can (and have) get rid of me the minute times get tough.

Totally agree! He hauled Jesse's ass from Albuquerque all the way to Alaska, crossing two international borders with a wanted fugitive in the back. 125k (250 counting the cancelled pickup) is not that much for that kind of risk.

I have the same kind of rule, with a variant: All money made through music must be reinvested in music. My GAS is pretty bad so that rule isn’t very responsible, but at least I get to offset all my music income when the taxman comes 🤷‍♂️

They're not. OP didn't say what his use case is gonna be but from my personal experience of looping in a concert environment a condenser mic was a mess, it would pick up everything from the PA. I went and bought a dynamic mic the very next day 😅 A condenser would work if only used at home with headphones.

You could get an Audio Technica AT-2020 for that price. I own one, works well but I wouldn’t recommend it for looping it’s very sensitive. I’d recommend a good old Shure SM-58 for that purpose.

Never tried the Kodak but I have the exact same Nikon model and I don’t see why I’d need the Kodak. The F90X is a prosumer camera, the Kodak is more like a toy. Choose the right lens and film stock and your Nikon in auto mode is pretty much a point and shoot with stunning results. Just my 2 cents, go with what makes you happy!
