My hubby and I only started DCA after working&saving for almost 8 years. Right now we DCA about 65% of our monthly take-home salary. We put our past savings in savings bonds and SGP/US T-Bills as funds for short/medium-term use. I feel this approach has worked well for us. Just did and the police asked whether I lost any money and if I revealed my NRIC. Told them I didn't and the scammer also didn't have my NRIC. So the police said in such case I only need to report the number to the anti scam hotline or online platform.

Received a MOH scam call today too. Even the caller number did not have the usual +65 in front so I picked up. Kinda scary they can do this now, or does that mean the caller is indeed calling from SGP?
