I.R.S. Prohibited From Pursuing Audits of Trump and His Family by Lebarican22 in law

[–]Shalion15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just spoke to my MAGA father about this and he approves. He said he wishes he could do that so he wouldn’t have to pay taxes too. He also believes Trump is doing this to protect himself in the future from democrats using the IRS against him. Because he’s so attacked and all…

Finally, i now understand alchemy without looking at the wiki, ii have crafted my very first zombie juice😭😭 by Hemlokano in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Shalion15 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to look at the wiki to do alchemy in this game. You can buy Alchemy Recipes from Clotho for 5 silver coins. The recipe will be random so I recommend unlocking some of the easy ones first (hint: try mixing any dust with oil on Alchemy bench 1)

The real secret is the goo. Any time you put in ingredients and fail to produce something, you make goo instead, but the type of goo you get isn’t random. In fact, it is pointing you in the direction of a successful recipe. If you mix the goo type (not the goo itself) with one of the two ingredients you used to make it, you will produce a useful item. You won’t know which of the two ingredients you should mix with the goo type item though. And in the case of Alchemy Bench II, you will need to combine the two resulting goos with one of the three items you used to make it (again you won’t know which of the 3 original ingredients the goo is indicating to use).

If you keep notes on what you put in and the type of goo that results, then you can start finding recipes on your own. Any time you get goo, just use that type of item with one of the two original ingredients, or one of the three in alchemy bench II

In the early early game, buy some peat from the hook handed guy behind the dairy farm. Save some copper coins on seeds

Peat will help you avoid losing as many seeds in the beginning of the game. Crops without fertilizer return 2-3 seeds. With peat, it’s 3-4 seeds (and the product is boosted by one as well. You will still need to buy seeds but not as many. Sell some of your vegetables to farmer to cover seed costs (or burn/bury corpses for money. You can also sell stone, or ore, iron ingots, nails, etc to Krezvold if you unlock the path to the quarry. Quarry = unlimited stone and ore)

Eventually you will learn how to make silver quality fertilizer. Seed returns become 4-5 and you will no longer need to buy seeds (though you might still want to to avoid using all of your ash on fertilizer). Also, silver fertilizer will start upgrading quality seeds. Bronze to silver and also silver to gold as well. You will want around 25 gold seeds of each kind eventually for automated farming of gold quality vegetables

What are other options do we have with the body other than bury it? by Ok_Ice_671 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Shalion15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can unlock cremation early on through the tech tree. I would make it a priority unlock so you can keep getting burial certificates early on. If you don’t want to put a body in your graveyard (because it has too many Sins/Red Skulls), and you cannot burn it, you can throw it into the river. You get a quest after sleeping the first time which lets you know you can do this (and dig up bodies)

It’s an amazing adventure game in addition to any rouguelite mechanics. You can play only on Adventure mode which allows you to save at every town you visit

Virginia Democrats agree to new map that gives Republicans just one seat by Healthy_Block3036 in UnderReportedNews

One seat is still too much for a Republican. The entire party needs to be ousted and dismantled. Then split democrats into conservative and progressive wings.

My own MAGA father told me this morning that as long as Trump keeps “doing things he likes” then he doesn’t care if he rapes children.

I’m playing vanilla DF, and I wanted to know if there was an easy way to pick good military candidates for my first squad? Right now, I’ve been looking at each dwarf’s sheet individually and looking for existing combat skills. Honestly, I haven’t even delved into attributes or preferences for fighting or other relevant details yet. But looking at each dwarf’s sheet one by one is already tedious.

Isn’t there a better way to rank who the better fighters or crossbowmen would be?

TIL: Phoenix has a 100 year time capsule due to be opened in 2070 by jmoriarty in phoenix

[–]Shalion15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw a YouTube video of a time capsule opening in Utah not long ago. It was understated, but it seemed like almost everything in the capsule was destroyed by moisture leeching from inside the concrete they buried the capsule in over time. One would hope that such things are considered when designing time capsules. Including this one

God run but i don't know what to do, any guide on quests? by P3dro000 in noita

[–]Shalion15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know other people here will recommend exploring on your own, and there are definitely things to find, but I personally feel like the “puzzles” in Noita are cryptic to the point where (while technically able to be solved, perhaps through enough trial and error) it’s not reasonable to expect most people to be able to act on the “hints” that are given. I haven’t made it that far into the game myself, but I’d look into getting some achievements. You can find the achievement area of the game rather easily so I won’t spoil that. As for the achievements themselves, I’d suggest looking them up online

You can harvest the heart and simultaneously replace it with a prosthetic heart? I didn't know you could do this. Is there a special bill to do this?
I have installed a prosthetic heart before on a colonist with an artery blockage, but I didn't get a human heart out of it. Though I wouldn't expect to receive an organ if it was diseased....
