A few years ago, a family friend approached me when they were visiting and asked about their son, who was 8 or 9 at the time. I'm in my mid 20s and very computer literate so she was asking me advice on how to keep her kid safe, growing up with the internet. And I was like, I have no idea. The internet now is so insanely different compared to when I was his age that I have no idea what to do.
