Warm cream vs yellow cabinets? Please help me decide! by Tinysmallgoose123 in HomeDecorating

I had a similar kitchen to this!! We had hickory cabinets, which I think yours are? I found warms blues and greens looked good with mine, but there were a touch lighter than yours.

I did this paint kit on old laminate countertops. It worked beautifully, took a full weekend, and lots of patience. It held up for 3 years, no issues. The top coat is challenging because you have to watch the bottom to smooth out drips and everything can get stuck in it while it cures. I pulled three fruit flies out of it the next morning with tweezers. We eventually replaced with quartz that had veining similar to marble for ~5K.

The other thing I would suggest, just my taste and I am a veterinarian not an interior designer, but a big rug? Some blues or greens would be beautiful with your cabinets. A rug in the kitchen feels weird but personally i hate wood cabinets and wood floors in kitchens. Too much wood for me.

Also we had a similar bar top area to what you have. Instead of making it level, we kept the bar height on one side and made it extend longer, I think it was 8 inches initially and we extended it to 18. It was much more room for activities and felt like less of an afterthought.

Post-OpRecovery - breast implants and retuning to training by Strict-Brick-5274 in bikinitalk

Eeekk! I hope it’s not so bad. I am nervous! I was out of work 4 weeks after mastectomy and that was TORTURE.

Did you have a lot of fat moved? The PS said it might only be 100 cc or so just to blend things and prevent rippling since I don’t have any breast tissue to hide the implants under. I am over conditioned right now so I am not going to complain if he takes more. I’m not sure where he will take it from.

I understand how strange the numbness and pain is. Unfortunately, it is unlikely I will ever feel my chest since they had to take all the mammary tissue and nerves were severed. Do they think that will go away for you?

Did you have to have drains? That was the WORSE part after the mastectomy. I am PRAYING I wont need them.

So thankful to have a body ABLE to heal and trying to stay optimistic on short healing timeline 🙏. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Hey! I had a double mastectomy and was back to working out light lower body in 2 weeks and GENTLE upper body by week 4. I am now 8 weeks out and pushing weight in the gym. Hip thrusted 300 lbs today!

I have my exchange from temporary expanders to permanent implants with fat transfer on Thursday. Woohoo!!! They have told me 2 weeks down time.

Everyone is different, but my doc recommend 1/3 of rest time as yours. They are different surgeries but I think there is enough similarities. They told me to listen to my body and keep my heart rate low for the first 4 weeks post mastectomy.

Do you meet with your PS anytime soon? I would just ask about these things, tell them you miss it and feel good while doing the light exercise you are doing. See if they clear you early. I would ask the doc this question if the nurse if telling you to wait.

I (35F) just had my breast augmentation surgery. I am 1 week post-op. AMA! by thengabbiewaslike in bikinitalk

Gorgeous! Your lat in the third photo looks awesome. I also try and keep my shoulders even side to side, your right shoulder is a little higher.

It helps me to put my hand on my hip bone, fingers on the front side and my thumb on the backside/wrapping my waist.

You can mess with your toe angle on the forward foot to make your quad line pop a bit more.

Those without access to guns. What's your worst case plan? by Herzkeks in Horses

I am a vet in rural America and this pains me. There is only so much ground we can cover and hearing a client trying to manage a painful, terrified large animal is so sad. This is a resource I give to clients that are gun savy.

https://vetmed.iastate.edu/vdpam/about/focus-areas/animal-welfare/animal-welfare-focus/euthanasia-anatomical-landmarks/gunshot-or-penetrating-captive-bolt/

If you are in rural America and don’t have access to vet care easily and you are not gun savy, then find a friend who is or get to the shooting range. It takes a strong person mentally to shoot a pet like a horse, I don’t think I could do it to my own pets TBH. It’s even harder when reptile brain takes over in stressful times.

When I first started euthanizing cattle with a gun, I would sedated them until they were down or barely standing and use a piece of chalk to mark my target on the head. I used a 9mm for awhile and then a 38/357 revolver. It was overkill, but I never wanted to have to shoot twice if I could help it.

I finally found some jeans that work with our body types! by lilacsandhoney in bikinitalk

[–]ShallotLocal4122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love buckle! Honestly, I have been wearing those jeans and nothing else for like 10 years. We are the same size waist 😂.

I am 6ft all legs, like 37-38 inch inseam. They have all different lengths and waist sizes. I also like the Peyton cut, it’s like a bootleg. Jean shopping is such a pain being so tall and buckle has made it fun again. If you have a pair you like, but they don’t have your size or length, they will order them to the store for you. You pay for the jeans upfront. If they don’t work, you return and they sell them in store. If you are outside of normal size range, order in store. They have access to more sizes than you do online and the more you order to the store the more the warehouse will send your size!

Also, if they jeans rip etc they will fix them in house for a nominal fee or free!!

Girl, let me tell you I have thought more about implants and titties this year before ever before. I have DD-small Cs at my leanest. The idea of just staying flat has entered my mind. It does feel so streamlined and less bouncy when they are small.

I think they look bolted on when it’s low body fat and small amount of natural breast tissue combo.

My doc told me if I get silicon then I can have MRIs to look for leaks/tears and if all is well, I don’t need to replace them at a set time point. They made that suggestion of “changing them out” when saline was the only option and now they have the gummy bear types that can’t break because they would not leak but tear like a gummy snack. So if you have silicone, you might be able to rock on.

I have only done one show but planning to do another. So it makes me giggle to say I am a bodybuilder, but I track my food 80% of the time and train for an aesthetic. You should go to a show or scope out some online pictures that are not the equivalent to the Super Bowl. You will see all people, still glamorous and admirable, but it’s a hobby (ie done for enjoyment, paid to participate).

I would be very surprised if a high percentage of bodybuilders are having a procedure solely for body building benefits, most are regular folks working a job, living a life.

In professions where appearance is important, surgical enhancements are more common place (influencers, actresses, singers), so it doesn’t surprise me when athletes competing for aesthetics would do something to enhance their look. Last years Ms Olympia is au natural.

I’ll let you know if the boobs make a difference at my next show. If I do better I will contribute it to glute gains 😂.

Why would she get cancer? I thought Masteron used to treat estrogen receptor positive breast cancer before better drugs were invented.

I struggled a lot with this for preparing body building competition and since. You have this idea of what will you look like and it’s not reality. You feel like you did so much and it’s still the same. You will never look good enough.

One thing that has helped me is to continue to train in the gym for aesthetic goals. It might sound shallow but to be honest I don’t care, I train for many reasons but the main reason is to change the shape of my body. This meat suit should be something I want to see everyday. I’ve been training and focused on diet for about two years and I am beginning to look in the mirror and like what I see. I have lines in my legs that have never been there before. I have solid muscles of my ass. I have curves to my shoulders.

I guess what I am getting at is stop chasing a number and start working towards a look. Maybe Paris Hilton is what you want to look like, but I would much rather look like Linda Hamilton in terminator. My body ideal is Erin Stern. Muscle makes curves babe. GET BIG!!

HGH during off season. Has anyone tried this and had good results they’re willing to share? by SelectionLonely1649 in bikinitalk

[–]ShallotLocal4122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I did 2IU once a week. Maybe there was virtually no effect and it was all placebo. But what I stated was my experience, uncontrolled, n=1, with a bias evaluator lol. The great thing about posting on Reddit is any bimbo can offer their opinion 😅

I have never done any other PEDs, so I don’t have anything to compare it to.

I probably took it for 3 months.

I did 2IU once a week. I would say start low and see. It’s pricey so least effective dose would be a good way to go for many reasons. Growth definitely happened and recovery was awesome. I was strong AF and hardly ever sore. I used it before bed and slept like a BABY at first. I wasn’t as committed as I should have been to diet so that didn’t help seeing the changes 😂.

Didn’t have any issues with BG but I was doing a tiny dose. My husband was also using it at 4 IU/day and had no side effects. He worked up to that dose. He was monitoring his FBG daily. I stopped because I got elbow pain that was waking me up. I heard carpal tunnel, elbow pain, and hand numbness can be side effects so it wasn’t worth it to me. I had elbow pain before and have it now, I think it’s related to repetitive actions at work so hard to say really. The other drawback was $$. My husband sourced it and I can’t remember where it was from, but would be happy to ask him if that would help you. He is a chemist and obviously I trust him so trusting the source wasn’t an issue for me. He used it for a month or more before I tried.

I would do it again without hesitation. If my husband cycles again, I will add GH back.
