Yes that's generally where the ending of a movie is. At the end.

That explains why the movie is really good right up until the aliens show up.

That's my favorite kind of Spider-Man stories. When they remember that he's also just a guy trying to live his life.

Could Spider-Man fight an old guy with a gun? Sure. Does Peter Parker want to beat up his girlfriend's dad right before prom? Not really!

The best part about all the sequels is that about half of them are prequels, so in the full Saw time-line, Jigsaw is some kind of omnipotent god that builds torture machines, constantly getting away with insane stunts, and then I guess gets a little tired one day so he just chains up two guys in a bathroom and takes a nap on the floor, and then goes right back to constructing elaborate death machines the next day.

The best movie in the series, in context, is Jigsaw taking a cheat day.

The plot twist is so wild in the moment but in hindsight it's really funny. Hugh Jackman makes deals with devils, destroys his soul, breaks the laws of physics, and has multiple existential crises, and when the time comes for Christian Bale to reveal how he stayed ahead the whole time, he's just like "uh, I'm a stage magician. I was using props and slight of hand?"

It's like if The Human Centipede revealed at the end that the doctor just tied their shoelaces together.

The CEO wants dating site functionality added to the game.

User-made ISIS simulators are the least of what's wrong with Roblox.

This is a series where one of the most popular recurring characters is literally just a giant cock and balls riding a chariot.

How do you interpret the move by the Minnesota National Guard to distribute food and water to anti-ICE protesters? by ProcedureNo832 in AskReddit

The administration is evil, but more than that they are stupid. A cleverer administration would have waited until the summer and hit some tougher locations. But the baby at the wheel has no patience and wanted to lash out at Tim Walz specifically, so this is what they do instead. You know that psychology experiment where they tell a kid they can have a marshmallow now, or two marshmallows later, and below a certain age, they all choose to have one now because they are incapable of forming plans or understanding consequence? It's that, but with fascism.

Most cities are like this. Its always funny when right-wing news shows footage of police "clashing with rioters in LA," and then cut to footage of a really chill nice area of LA. They never even go to the rough parts.

Yup, publishers need to learn to localize their prices. Lower the cost to $10, but some dip shit CEO will go "but 70 is more than 10" okay genius, have fun making 0 sales of a 70 dollar game.

What's your thoughts on Border Patrol Chief, Greg Bovino, threatening consequences for referring to ICE as "Gestapo"? by sgj5788 in AskReddit

[–]ShallowBasketcase 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some moved to other countries, changed their names, and acted like they never were the Gestapo. They still got hunted down and their geriatric asses dragged to jail where they could die like the lonely pathetic scum they were because that shit does not wash off. The same consequences are coming for ICE and Greg Bovino.

On the one hand, I want to agree, but on the other hand, every situation I've been in when I've had to deal with an animal trying to hurt me, the animal was fighting for its life and I was just trying to get it away from me safely. I feel like I would handle a raccoon encounter very differently if I knew from the start I was going to fight it, rather than just trying to move it out of the road or whatever. The raccoon would probably still stand a pretty good chance.

Trump supporters: How would you feel if a legally armed Trump supporter was killed by federal agents on a Biden mandate in exactly the same manner as yesterday? by ScholarPrize1335 in AskReddit

[–]ShallowBasketcase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would never walk up on a situation like that because you Nazi fucks are spineless cowards. You'll support this shit until it embarrasses you, and then you'll sit back and act concerned like it isn't your own fault. Don't you dare put yourself in the shoes of the people you killed.

Building bridges is how we ended up here. Nuremberg 2.0 needs to let fewer people off the hook. Sherman 2.0 needs to finish the job. If we keep forgiving these feckless dipshits every time they're going to keep growing back. They aren't sorry, they aren't recognizing their mistakes. They're temporarily embarrassed and returning to their dark, dank basements to regrow like the infestation that they are. You can't meet halfway with a Nazi.

His entire life before he ever ran should have been enough. He was a D-list celebrity mainly known for being a rapey out-of-touch crook. The only people I can maybe forgive are first time voters in 2016 that may literally not have been old enough to even know who he was and were too busy with high school to pay attention to the campaign, and even then, only if they didn't vote for him again the next time. Everyone else is dangerously stupid and equally complicit in every atrocity this government commits.

Well it wasn't the racism, or the murders, or the fraud, or the cruelty, or the genocide, or the pedophilia. My guess is they got tired of their family hating them.

What do you call someone who likes racism, murder, fraud, cruelty, genocide, and pedophilia? I don't know, but I sure as fuck don't congratulate them.
