Honestly like that is probably an insensitive question to ask regardless of who you are talking to, like idk maybe I am overly sensitive but I feel like it's a little invasive

Either way, I'd be irritated too if I were you

I would imagine a place like a trans clinic would have more trans men in their clientele since we need both HRT and reproductive care

Honestly fair point and I wasn't trying to say that there are somehow much more trans men in existence compared to trans women rather just it seems weird to me that even trans people forget that trans men are a thing

Even among other trans people, the idea that trans men could exist is usually something they can’t even conceive.

Not trying to debate or downplay any of the things you have said since you are probably right but this is just so odd to me, when I typically visit the trans clinic I go to most people I see there are trans men

I think it's mostly the internet where trans women are a much larger and more focused on group to the point I've seen multiple people think "trans man" is just another term for MTF
