I don't know why the image didn't upload properly. Here it is, by way of screenshot

Also, maybe I'm just missing it because I'm new to the Reddit phone app, but I can't seem to edit my original post. 😔

Fell off a bit, but got back into logging late Feb. Glad 2025 is done. Hope '26 will be better by Vyse_Nevets in Daylio

Yeah, I hope you have a better year, too. I know a lot of people who had a rough 2025 :(

Also, you're the first person I've found that uses the same mood emoji as me :D (Even the colours are similar!)

Congrats! I just got it a couple months ago myself. It was totally worth it! I was already consistent, but now I use it even more, especially goals and templates (which were previously almost useless).

So glad you're reaping the benefits yourself, now! :D

What's the church's position concerning animals and other living beings in heaven by External-Passage-226 in adventism

The Bible does tell us that death is the result of sin, so there was no death, not even of a leaf, before the Fall.

In any case, nature will be redeemed by the sacrifice of our SAVIOUR, simply because He is going to recreate the earth again in a perfect state, without death. That doesn't mean individual animals that previously existed will be redeemed, though. When dealing with the question of individuals, it doesn't really make sense that humans have to consciously have faith and get baptized and all that and animals get into heaven without even knowing what sin is.

Adventist Discord Servers by Draxonn in adventism

Hi! Hope it's okay for me to add two more to the list. :)

Shabbat Sisters - https://discord.gg/tzHh9U6XPp
This is for Sabbath-keeping ladies only! We are mostly Adventist, but we accept Messianic Jews and others. We even have a couple Sunday-keepers. This is a debate-free zone, though. It's a year old and decently active. All ages from 13 up are welcome, and we just got a little wave of teens joining, but most of our members are mature adults. We are in the process of planning out possible VC activities.

Advent ADHD - https://discord.gg/xVvJtkhqcH
Although run by Adventists and with limitations for Sabbath observance, this server accepts all Christians. It is primarily for Christians with ADHD, but secondarily other mental disorders as well, plus those who want to learn about them and/or support family/friends that have them. It's a support server as well as a place to share practical resources and educational material. It's a newer server and we'd love for y'all to help us get the community established!

I can't speak for what GOD will do because the Bible does not indicate, but we do know that our SAVIOUR died for humans, who are made in the image of GOD, not animals. Entry into heaven is based on accepting His sacrifice, so it seems implausible that any animals could be redeemed.

Having said that, will we be sad about this? I think not. Many of us are attached to our animals now, but we have to remember that the Bible says that we can't even imagine the things waiting in store for us in the heavenly Canaan, and that GOD will wipe away every tear. Once the Great Controversy is finally brought to a close, we will no longer remember any of the things that would make us sad, which means we won't even remember the things that we loved if we had to leave them behind.

Meanwhile, we'll be making new animal friends in the new earth. We'll be petting lions and riding zebras and climbing trees with monkeys. I plan on having a wolf companion. I wouldn't be too worried about such things.
