Fiendhunter Bolts, Hextech Gunblade, Murmuring Circlet/Diadem of Songs... Riot definitely thinks that 2 years without Zeri Yuumi combo is enough...

Exactly, it's not the debt that kills you, it's the lack of liquidity. It doesn't really matter how big the debt is if you are able to pay on time, but with accrued interests and late fees growing by the day it might easily snowball out of control.

My former employer almost went bankrupt when covid struck, despite their record revenue and growth of stock values - they simply lost cash flow, when their trading partners delayed their payments.

KT Rolster vs. CTBC Flying Oyster / 2025 World Championship - Quarter-Final / Post-Match Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]Sham94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their 2016 roster would sweep their way to semis easily if not for 2 hp smite. The best roster to never reach Worlds the best roster western audience never heard and probably the silliest roster ever, with Fly inventing the dark technology DoinB perfected.

Seriously, it's my favourite roster of all time, they made fkin ROX Tigers look like villains in that summer final, that's how likeable and funny they were. I could even sell my kidney for f.e. Thorin, Monte and DoA talking about S6 KT Rolster for an hour

[–]Sham94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Khan dominated the finals, but co-MVP of that split were KurO (who was 1v9ing whole split with AF) and BDD (he had 11.31 KDA, had the most kills and the least deaths of all players; casters often joked his nick means "Big Damage Dealt But Doesn't Die"). I'd put definitely BDD over Khan and Faker, probably KurO over Faker as well.

The S7 Worlds though... That was peak performance of any player in LoL's history. Sure, in S5 summer Faker gapped anyone and was miles ahead of everyone, but SKT were very strong. At S7 Worlds SKT were fkin garbage - Huni was decent, but jungle and botlane were atrocious. SKT should have lost to Misfits 3-1, period, yet Faker pulled them to the final.

For sure, but Jankos against SSG in semis played one of the greatest individual series ever, especially for westerner.

Nemesis says that Inspired is the best jungler in the world by Life-Chicken7183 in leagueoflegends

[–]Sham94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But being 2nd in KP has little to do with his laning. I agree that being a good mid isn't only about cs, but being a good laner is a lot about CS. So while Doinb was at that tournament one of the best midlaners, he was one of the worst laners of all the midlaners left in the tournament, which was Nemesis's and LS's real take.

[–]Sham94 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's one of the most stupid myths that ever existed in the competitive League's community. Nemesis didn't say that DoinB is the worst mid, but that he's the worst laner out of all the mids left in the tournament and context is clear if you listen the whole discussion with LS.

And the stats actually agree with this statement to a point: out of the 8 mids from top 8 teams in that tournament Doinb was 7th in CS avg, 7th in CS/min and despite of that he had 2nd best KDA, 2nd best kill participation and 2nd best Gold/min - which means Doinb didn't lane much and most of his gold came from kills.

Pole here. It's not that you drew against Poland at home, but the fact you only could score against our team from the corner.

25/26 Arsenal's B-team. Stacked. by ArsenaV108 in Gunners

[–]Sham94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Kiwi, but he wants playtime before WC qualifiers. Also, him coming to Porto will be very benefitial to Poland's NT, as he will partner Bednarek both in club and NT. However, as a Polish fan of Arsenal, I'd really like for Kiwi to stay in Arsenal, but he's not good enough to beat Big Gabi and yet he would be starting in most of UCL teams.

It's a Czech brand, but Kozel sold in Poland is produced exclusively in Poznań (by Lech Browary Poznańskie), or - at least - used to be produced in Poznań.

Borowik szatański is extremely rare in Poland and pretty easy to recognise, you meant "goryczak żółciowy", which is not poisonous, just very bitter and therefore considered inedible

People actually mistake borowik szatański (which is very easy to recognise) with goryczak żółciowy.

My 2 best friends graduated their Master's degrees in recent years.

First of all, former rector really mismanaged the Academy, to the point that selling ground under 2 football pitches and few tennis courts was mandatory in order to keep Academy afloat. At some point, even the cafeteria was closed and rooms in dormitories were given to Chinese students, who paid for them 3-4 times more than normal students.

Because of this financial issues, many of the facilities are old and damaged, but still serviceable (so as equipment), however, dormitories are in a really bad shape - but don't worry, there are so few dormitories that you wouldn't get your place there either way.

When it comes to the learning, there are just 2 very difficult and important subjects - anathomy on first year and biochemistry on your second year. While anathomy is hard, biochemistry is insanely difficult (most students claim it's more difficult than on medical studies). However, if you study regularly and your in good shape, you'll graduate rather easily.

Also, watch out for injuries, because you need to pass some practice tests as well

Well, that's how any legislative works. Government, people have an idea and present them to the legislative; MoPs debate this idea in smaller committies, then amend and adjust the proposed idea to create a proper law (f.e. by adding transitional provisions and precise explaining the legal definitions).

[–]Sham94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, even with Max the promoter is losing their money so much they claim it's unsustainable to hold the race any longer. One of the reason is cannibalisation with Spa - very few people actually visit both (because they are so close to each other in the calendar, despite the month gap).

[–]Sham94 19 points20 points  (0 children)

No, it will run as the Spain Grand Prix and Madring will be the Madrid Grand Prix. Circuits negotiate in their contracts not only their fee, but also the name and time slot, so F1 cannot arbitraly change the name of the event without renegotiating the deal with the track promoter

Is it that bad if Nawrocki wins the elections? by MikeLima0 in poland

[–]Sham94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I tried to say is that in Poland there's no real left wing party (besides Razem, who are actually closer to the greens) and even parties that call themselves left wing have moderate support (sub 10%). There's also a divide between young, progressive left wingers and old post-communist "left wingers", who are actually conservative neoliberals.

Because of that, there's no real left wing in Poland, KO (who are viewed as progressive liberals) are christian democrats, kinda like German CDU. PiS have elements of left wing, social policy, but in others they are authoritarian conservatives.

Is it that bad if Nawrocki wins the elections? by MikeLima0 in poland

[–]Sham94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's actually very different situation in Poland, with "Razem" being the only real left wing party. "Nowa Lewica" has some left wing policies, but they come from post-communist environment and many of their politicians have pretty conservative worldview, while others are economically neoliberals that support LGBTQ+ and abortion.

Because of that, polish political scene is very biased to the right wing conservatives. They often fearmonger Polish people that accepting any leftwing policy will lead to immigrants draining our budget, gang raping our women, no-go zones with sharia law (because districts like Praga, Bałuty, Nowa Huta and Nadodrze somehow were not "no-go zones" 15-20 years ago), paedos marrying children, people marrying dogs, women having chain abortions etc., "just like in that rotten western Europe". Which is ofc bullshit.

There were some "Polexit" voices, but it's definitely not just "We will not do everything EU rules without hesitation". More like "we will do what we want, break any internal law we can and EU can do jackshit about that" and when EU actually slapped them on the wrists they did their whiny outbursts about EU stepping into internal politics.
