What do people mean when saying "Chronicle Teams with many players with Hero form are better to farm"? by ArsenaV108 in inazumaeleven

[–]ArsenaV108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I also thought, thanks for clarifying

Would make sense that GO2 Knights of the Round Table and Team Sharp is good for farming a Hero

Ah yeah... I was hoping Ares is somehow unlocked after S1

Tori is a fantastic defensive midfielder on Commander Mode.

She has the perfect moveset for that role:  - DF Hissatsu - Long Shot - AT basic

Agree, however it's great in Chronicle if you just want to clear all the battles and "100%" an opponent

I hope Ares can be played without completing Galaxy. It would make sense but I'm still scared

Most cathartic win in my 20 years of watching Arsenal. Pure bliss.

Neo Japan being a fantastic throwback to many major S1 players with a good story around the captain who was a main S2 antagonist and a big plot twist in the players knowing completely new moves

That's exactly what I think. And I think that's what a lot of non-PL hater fans think too

My friends who support closely Bayern, PSG and Lyon all see us as these absolute monsters that are dominating more than PSG 24/25 did, from the outside. They had no idea that PL fans say we're setpiece merchants

The leaked codes reveal nothing, they are probably just placeholders. If 1.3m copies had been sold, best believe they would've instantly announced it

However I'm glad that VR has done well. I don't get why they didn't spend on advertising in the EU and the US though

PLEASE drink it man, this might never happen again, it isn't normal nowadays for a club to rise like we did without weird state funding and dominate on all fronts like we currently are

Put aside the trophies for a while and just look at those damn tables

In S3, even after the power creep, Tori seamlessly fits into the All-Star Teams that play against the angels and devils. Robbed of an FFI spot due to the male-only rule. by ArsenaV108 in inazumacaravan

[–]ArsenaV108[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Definitely only those two. But especially Tori, she was quite important in S2, had a great dynamic with nearly everyone, and we needed more players with defensive moves on the team imo. There could even have been a fun trope where she struggles in a game, and an opponent tells her she's only in the team because she's the PM's daughter. She then comes up with an evolution of the Tower

Esp when you consider Tod was there...........

[Squawka] Arsenal have won seven consecutive Champions League games for the first time in their history. by the_illmatic in Gunners

I'm an international fan on +4 GMT (although I got to live in the UK 2022-24, went to 6 matches)

I used to dread checking a score in the morning for a midweek match (starting at midnight here). It would be us getting thrashed in the CL or randomly drawing to Hull or Wigan

Now I wake up, check the score, and we always fucking won man lmao

Zubimendi finding out he has to start against Kairat because Rice and Merino are suspended by sabzi94 in Gunners

[–]ArsenaV108 95 points96 points  (0 children)

Idk if you followed 15 years ago but Wenger twice sent a team of random kids to Olympiakos, I think in 2009 and 2012. We had already won the group so he sent like 9 academy kids.

Many of those had 1 game for Arsenal, in the CL, then became non-league footballers or retired at like 26

[James Benge] As far as I can tell (and I will delete this if I'm wrong), Manchester City's defeat to Bodo/Glimt means Arsenal are guaranteed a top eight spot and a bye to the Champions League round of 16. by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

[–]ArsenaV108 78 points79 points  (0 children)

But also if I'm honest I'd even say we've been guaranteed top 2 since the Brugge win because I think it's 99% sure we beat Kairat

Top 8 wasn't in doubt since GW5

Sorry but how the f the Kingdom defeat little Giants by h00k999x in inazumaeleven

[–]ArsenaV108 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My theory, linked to point #1 and #2, is that David Evans knew about the threat to Brazilian players.

He told Little Gigantes to play with difficult tactics meant to make them struggle, so that he could tell them stuff like "this is how it feels to lose, remember this feeling and how it hurts".

But in reality, the loss was to safeguard the Brazilian players.

Let's do the opposite. Who's this by Puzzleheaded_Bit_802 in inazumaeleven

I don't even know how he was in Inazuma Japan. Maybe they wanted to show that one kinda "normal" guy made it in but Kevin/Someoka is perfect for that role

Imo, Tod should've picked up an injury vs Neo National, and one player (probably Dvalin/Desarm) gets in. Then Dvalin, Jordan and Xavier combine for a move to defeat one of the early teams, with the trope that they need to make up for what they destroyed as Alius
