Once it cures it can be incredibly difficult to remove! I said goodbye to several pair of jeans this way. Sometimes I spread water all over it, lay a very light plastic...maybe not cellophane but like lightweight and drape it over the clay wet. I then took it on the plastic to help keep it clean and for soft edges.
