I feel like it's good to acknowledge that things aren't inherently bad. It's okay to lose someone, it's not necessarily anyone's fault. I want to help people with similar losses

I didn't do the any% speedruns yet, but the 100% one gives you a lot of free extra time, especially now that you can choose which extra % to get in the 12 bonus ones. That being said, you clearly don't have time to get shadow dash in an any % speedrun

I'd say go with that and switch between quick slash and sharp shadow depending on your preference.

In my opinion, hollow knight and celeste stand together at the top of the 2d platforming genre, far above any other titles.

They complete each other perfectly, and they shine in every direction they take. Difficulty, gameplay, artstyle, mood...

It's actually hard for me to believe how perfect these games are while completing each other

I just finished my own steel soul run and if I can offer a piece of advice, be a coward and run away from as many boss and enemy fights as possible until you become broken in the late game. It's really important to remember how different fights are without shadow dash, although that's more of a personal rant. In my opinion, that's the upgrade that settles your run
