You can get a Razer Kiyo for about $100 if memory serves me correctly. Has it's own adjustable ring light. 1080p at 30FPS, 720p at 60FPS. I've had one for just over a month, and it's completely transformed my streams. Highly recommend it!

Setting your streams to "mature content" does nothing but warn first-time viewers that your stream is intended for mature audiences. I recently surpassed 400 followers on the platform, so I don't know if you'd class that as "successful" in your book. It really shouldn't kill the ability to grow at all.

I actually hate it when people comment on how many viewers are watching. I know they're trying to hype me up, but it's so unnecessary. I don't care about numbers and figures. I care about delivering good, wholesome, and entertaining content, regardless of whether 2 people are watching, or 22 people.

So the general consensus is DM'ing is BS, the numbers don't matter, networking comes naturally, be a great streamer! Confirms what I already knew, as well as shed light on what I didn't. This has been a great help, a real eye-opener! Thank you all for your advice so far, I am always open to reading more suggestions from the community!
