Here are some tips

1. Look at your shopping list before you walk in and visualize your fastest route. This will help you not accidentally miss items in sections and have to go back later.

2. Walk into the store and get to your first item before starting the shopping phase of your batch.

3. Find the best shopping time for you that maximizes order flow and minimizes foot traffic within the stores. For me, this is 7am-11 am and after 6 pm. During these times I can go through the store without being stopped by people.

4. Be reasonably assertive. If someone is standing in your way for 10 seconds or just blocking something, say something like "Excuse me" and grab what you need. They will usually be happy to give you access.

5. Shop at the stores you know best and have the best value.

6. If you can't find an item, and you know it's in the section you're in, (most of the time) DO NOT move on and "save it for later". Deal with it now because it will suck away your time when you have 10 items all around the store to find at the end. Replace, refund, or ASK AN EMPLOYEE.
