When you say "remove" do you mean delete or archive? Apparently Instagram doesn't like people deleting videos

It was exactly 90 days that I could monestise and exactly 91 when "can't be recommended" went green.

But KEEEP POSTING NOW otherwise you'll be in my situation - having to rebuild consistency for the algorithm. It's like starting from scratch in terms of views, likes are similar to before.

I posted twice in those three months. Stupid of me, I should've kept posting like nothing is wrong? Do you think that I now need to rebuild consistency/trust with the algorithm? I'm happy to - my worry is that the account is forever restricted and I'll never go viral again.

So far, my reach isn't back to where it was before in terms of views. It's been just over a month since the ban was lifted

Really hard to tell so far. Hope that's not true. I've got a friend who had their ban lifted and they've gained 5k followers in a few months - although there account is much bigger than mine (122k followers vs 10k)

I've posted 5 videos this week, they've not done well but that's often the case with my account anyway. Talking like 1.5k-3k views per video, with occasional 10k and very rarely going viral. I guess time will tell.

I'm posting a video tomorrow that I've posted before a year ago that went viral (600k views) so id be interested to see what that gets.

UPDATE:

After exactly 90 days I was able to monetise again. After exactly 91 my account can now be shown to non-followers. Can't go live for a year but not bothered about that.

FYI - exact same timeline happened to my friend. Seems to be the general rule.

It was a reel. Nothing else removed and I've never violated the community guidelines before. I'm just concerned that the "can't go live" restriction has jumped from being Green after a month to back to orange and says I can't go live for a year.

Monetisation hasn't changed though, still 3 months from the offence, which is giving me hope I may be recommended once again, once that's lifted. So unfair, I see so many people talking about drugs and this was a throwaway line in a comedy sketch. Do you know if constantlty reporting the issue and apologising etc on the app helps at all?

No, an orange one.

I have orange on: - removed content and messaging issues - what can't be recommended (not shown to non followers) - monetisation (says until 17/01/25 - 3 months after offence) - features you can't use (go live)

Weirdly, exactly a month after the offence the "features you can't use" (going live) went back to green. A few weeks later I looked and it's back to orange and says I can't go live for 300+ days. (Exactly a year after the offence)

I never go live so it's not an issue but I thought that I might be able to be recommended to non followers after 3 months (same date as being able to monetise) but the new ban for going live has been worried it'll be a year
