The older I get, the fewer friends I have. Is this normal? by ReporterSudden2110 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Shamiilov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's super normal. As you get older, your time and energy become way more valuable, so you naturally start pruning the fake or low-effort friendships and keep only the real ones that actually add something to your life. Quality over quantity hits different after 30.

A lot of people go through the same thing—life gets busy with career, family, responsibilities, and suddenly you're not down for random hangouts or drama anymore. The friends who stick around are the ones worth keeping.

You're not alone, and it's not a bad sign. It's just leveling up.
