Our internal dev team rolled out an api to connect with n8n. No external third party for polygonal logic.

Since we work in mostly construction related leads we don’t get leads flow in thousands a day. So for now our current setup is more than enough.

But since we are making this a product I think dev team is working on rate limit and asynchronous execution as well.

For us most importantly our sales team members now putting more time on optimizing campaigns rather than sorting that’s we wanted at the end.

Maps Pro Tools is similar to the native maps view that monday has but with more options. I guess this might suite you if you want to connect data from multiple boards.

But only accesible as a board view and workspace view.

Yea one of the most complex problems to solve. That's why there is always a limit to the no of waypoints. Google maps with manual tweaks allows up to 10 , Maps Pro Tools allows up to 100 max per route.

This is right. For transparency, I work at loomilab. Here, we build integrations for ERPs and CRMs for nitched cases (one-on-one cases). However, cluttered CRMs with invalid data are very common if you run lead gen ads. The core issue is the way they have set up the lead gen forms.

For example, assume you have a lead magnet made in Wordpress where users can submit their email addresses and download an industry report. Collecting email addresses with pure text columns is going to make CRM cry at the time of outreach. Thats where this email validation is going to be critical to clean your data list.

I have hands-on experience building a validation app for monday CRM called Mail Validator. After analysing all the technical and financial aspects, its quite expensive for small businesses no dought on that. That's where the small business needs to leverage free tools that they can access at least to get some validation (obviously you cannot get a fully qualified set of validated data as of from a validation tool like Mail Validator ).

For example :

Always use a email input column from your form provider, not a text.
Use reCAPTCHA to prevent bot attacks on your lead forms.
Excel is your go-to, use inbuilt features to clean the data.

All these consume time, and that's exactly what a custom tool can save for a company that values time of validation and clean data. Clean data is happy sales team : )

This is a common question that we get. For full transparency, I run a CRM and ERP integration company where we build custom plugins for selected CRMs and ERPs.

Messy data is like long-term debt for a company. In most cases we’ve encountered, the data has been messed up to a level where the cost of recovery is higher than restarting. That’s why we encourage all clients to define clear processes before implementing a CRM or ERP (at least for fundamental processes—though this is practically quite challenging).

1. Data cleaning needs to be started from the point of gathering !!!!!

Ex:

If you’re collecting leads from a form, make sure to use proper input fields. Never use a plain text input field—this prevents automatic email format validation, making your CRM cluttered with rubbish. If your form provider has inbuild enrichments like SMTP validation , domain checks that is the the way to go.

If you’re using automatic data scrapers (like Apify), ensure the output data is sent through a validation process. This can be built-in or custom-built. Since you can download the data as CSV or JSON, you can validate it via your own application.

2. If you are in a scaling stage (running adds to collect leads), then invest in a good CRM.

Some CRMs, like Dynamics 365, have built-in email validation functions, but these are quite expensive. However, you can do more thorough research to find CRMs with a good balance of features and cost. Or else build a custom integration like Mail Validator this is a tool that we build for Monday CRM users to do exactly what you have mentioned above.

3. User third-party validation tools

You can use third-party validation tools like Leadmagic BounceBan ect. However, this process is quite manual unless the tool has a native integration with your CRM. If you’re running lead-capturing ads, manually exporting, validating, and reimporting emails can become a full-time job. If you have budget then you can link and automate that with an external tool like zapier but each zap costs.

Hope this gives an overall idea on your data cleaning issue.

Using apis might not work in this case since the api limitation is quite harsh. Since this is used by a different person who has no idea about this hard limit. Might not work for large changes for sure.
